Facilities are okay. Rooms are dirty though. Good thing is it’s with free shuttle bus to the airport.

Hotel is dated, and in a fairly remote area. In a pinch it worked but you definitely need a car. Hotel did not tell me there’s be a charge for coffee, even though I was there for two mornings. I only found out when I got an email fromTrip.com. Not the proper way to do business, should have been told at the time I was there so I could have had a choice. Would not recommend or return to this property.

Hotel Porto Castello per come lo abbiamo vissuto io e la mia compagna possiamo garantire che è stata un'esperienza unica! Partendo dal personale, tutti i dipendenti si sono resi molto cordiali e disponibili, ed inoltre parlano anche un discreto italiano. La struttura è molto accogliente e la camera superior dove alloggiavamo noi era molto spaziosa sia dentro che fuori al terrazzino. Pulizia e biancheria ottimali. Il bagno è nelle giuste dimensioni. Servizio transfer per aereoporto a pagamento, ma da e per Fira la navetta era gratuita e partiva dalle 8 circa di mattina fino a mezzanotte con intervalli di 2 ore. Noi abbiamo prenotato il solo pernottamento, quindi non posso dare giudizi sul da mangiare. Ricapitolando quindi, per chiunque leggesse la mia recensione, posso assicurare che chi sceglie Porto Castello, non se ne pentirá, visto anche la posizione strategica al centro di Santorini e quindi ogni destinazione è facilmente raggiungibile, ovviamente affittando un mezzo di trasporto prenotabile anche in struttura. Se mai dovessi tornare a Santorini so dove andare! FANTASTICI!!!

I had a pleasure to stay in Porto Castello September 18-21. In my opinion : good location , near the beach , good size swimming pool, spacious facilities in comparison with Fira’s accommodations , peaceful and quiet place. We could hear the sea waves from our balcony at night. We love the free transportation to and from the hotel to Fira daily. I highly recommend this hotel.

Calm & tranquil hotel with a pool, and one minute walk to the sea. Quiet & peaceful, away from all the madness. There's a free shuttle service to/from Fira every three hours. There are various breakfasts served untill 12pm. You can also order from a take away menu for lunch and dinner. Cindy and George are lovely. The only negative for me was smoking is allowed in the rooms..

This hotel is very traditional and just perfect the pool area is lovely and it is very close to a very small harbour

The owners are so friendly and genuine. The bed was so super comfy and free transfers every 3 hours to town. Highly recommend

Nice clean property. Some flights to Santorini arrive at 2am and this property has a paid shuttle to the airport and a 24 hour concierge which is very nice.

The hotel was nice and the service fantastic. Could be better if they change the shower curtains.

Stayed here overnight during a layover. Staff was super friendly and nice. Shuttle to ferry port/airport is very convenient. Unfortunately, our room reeked of cigarette smoke which I found to be overwhelming.

Everybody was helpful and nice. The room was clean and cooled down with ac when we arrived. I appreciated that. Bathroom could need a update but everything worked fine.

We just stopped for for one night because we had a late arrival and it offered a reasonably priced shuttle. But now we want to go back and stay for longer! Quaint old fashioned hotel like stepping back in time but everything spotless so quiet if you don’t mind cats and wood pigeons. Can’t wait to return
