We stayed 3 nights and loved the view and size of the room. Unfortunately, you won't find the front desk willing to move from the chair they watch guests enter from. Traveling for an extended time, we had a lot of luggage. The tiny airport style luggage cart is pointed to around a corner and your on your own! Wind, rain and they just sat and watched as I fought to get as much on the tiny cart as possible making trips. The room, while large, has nowhere to place luggage and the 2 hangers they provided included one broken hanger. The safe didn't work but was so small the only thing it would have held was a credit card! Breakfast is served but you'll need a parka if it's winter and the plates and coffee cups are kept next to a window making everything that goes on them cold in minutes so eat quickly! The food is okay, if it hadn't gotten cold so quickly, I might have been able to say more. No lunch or dinner but staff did help order good food twice and opened the dining room for a place to eat. It's probably the best place to stay in the area but not very good at making guest feel special. As I checked out, not only I wasn't asked about my stay, I didn't even get a thank you until I mentioned it. When I mentioned the airport cart, I was told they'd inform the management. Obviously, management has seen hotel carts, they just choose not to provide ones that are of good quality. A simple item that would help every guest. Or, if they don't want to spend money, tell thier front desk staff to get up and help guests instead of watching them struggle from 15 feet away! I'd have been OK with either solution. If your in the hotel training business, these would be great clients to work with. They have everything they need except training.
