We were lucky to stay in this hotel for three nights and could highly recommend it. The room we had was with the direct view on the main square. That is, just a couple of steps away from the Cathedral. The room and the whole hotel felt very new and modern, with great isolation and very clean. The breakfast was standard, but fresh and very affordable (9 euros/person). If you’re staying in Santiago de Compostela - look no further!

Schließlich haben sie ihn geschickt, aber es war falsch. Glücklicherweise gibt es ein Telefon am Tür und in einem Sekunden haben sie es gelöst. Es gibt einen Parkplatz in der Nähe des Zentrums und der Kathedrale. Es ist sehr komfortabel, modern, wir haben die von Behinderten in PB angeraschen Es hat keine Klimaanlage, nur Heizung, wie wir im März waren, wir nicht merken, vielleicht im Sommer sieht es. Wir haben nicht Frühstück. Sehr komfortabel, gutes WiFi, keine Pau, aber im Salon haben Sie eine Kaffeemaschine. Wir waren nur eine Nacht, es war sehr gut.

I had a full apartment that was clean and modern, within 10 minutes walking distance of the cathedral. The woman who checked me in was friendly and helpful. This was excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it.

Das Hotel liegt in einer großen Lage und in der Nähe aller wichtigsten touristischen Gebiete, aber auch Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants. Ich war sehr enttäuscht über das Personal im Hotel. Beim Einchecken, nach etwa 10 Minuten warten, wie der Empfangsmann auf ihrem Computer geschrieben hat, haben wir endlich unsere Zimmerschlüssel. Die Mitarbeiter waren nicht sehr willkommen und erzählten uns nichts über das Hotel, die Einrichtungen, das Frühstückszimmer oder den Pool. Als wir ins Zimmer kamen, fanden wir, dass wir keine Badewanne hatten (was war, warum ich das Zimmer reservierte), keine Kleider und keine Slips. Minibar war leer mit einem Zeichen, dass es wegen der Covid-Sicherheit geschlossen wurde. Ich habe keine Ahnung, was die Covid-Sicherheit damit zu tun hat. Kein anderes Hotel, das ich in Spanien war, hat eine Entschuldigung. Auch kein Wasser im Zimmer. Keine Sanitärs im Zimmer auch. Als ich die Rezeption anrufe, um zu fragen, sagte sie, sie würde Wasser schicken, und dann mussten wir signieren, um 4 Euro für die Flasche zu zahlen. Schrecklicher Service, wie kann ein Hotel ihren Gästen kein Wasser liefern. Dies kommt aus einem teuren 5-Sterne-Hotel. Auf der Check-out war es so schlecht, aber ich konnte nicht warten, dann zu verlassen. Die Checkout-Person hatte ein Telefon in seinem Ohr die ganze Zeit, nahm unsere Schlüsselkarten, und die setzte seinen Anruf. Kein Rezept, keine ”Grüße”, nichts. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr schön, aber das Sound-Proofing ist absolut schrecklich. Alles, was wir jeden Morgen hören konnten, war der Lärm von Türen klingeln, Hoovers und wir konnten sogar von dem Zimmer neben uns hören. So hattest du nichts Wählen Sie sich aber mit dem ganzen Lärm früh aufwachen. Auch der Air-Con ist schrecklich, wir haben es immer hinterlassen, und das Zimmer war immer noch sehr warm. Es war nur etwa 20 Grad draußen, so würde ich mich hier im Sommer verhalten hassen. Insgesamt ein Hotel ablassen, würde ich es vermeiden. Ich denke, viele von 5 Stern-Hotels haben während Covid lazy, aber haben kein Problem, die Top-Preise zu erheben.

Es ist etwas abseits der Attraktion, aber es ist bequemer zu fahren. Die Tiefgarage kann direkt mit der Etage verbunden werden, in der sich das Zimmer befindet. Das Zimmer ist eine Suite mit einem Zustellbett. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig.

Firstly can I just say the Receptionists, Susi, Andrea and Juan were so friendly and helpful. They are a complete asset to this hotel as there is no bar or lounge area, so their attentiveness is a must. The hotel itself is in a shopping centre on the outskirts of Santiago. The walk to the Cathedral and centre is probably about 30 minutes and a lot of that is uphill. If you don't think you can manage the walk, there are regular buses outside hotel and also a taxi rank. The room we were allocated was a suite ( thank you for upgrade). It was very large and had a sofa area and there was a jacuzzi bath too. The shower head which was in the bath pointed towards the opposite end of the bath so bracket could do with being changed but that said, the water was always hot. The heating in the room was on a hotel timer and the radiators only came on at about 7.45pm, so the room was cold if you were showering before then. Maybe the management can look into changing this in winter/ spring months to an earlier time? The housekeeping was great with fresh towels and cleaning daily.The breakfast was Continental style with a good selection. My only problem was that the lady who worked on service etc had a very unfriendly manner about her. I arrived at 10.25 am on Monday morning for a cup of tea and just to have a Danish.(Breakfast served until 10.30 am)She rudely informed me that they were closed and when I asked could I take a cup of tea to my room( in my own mug) she told me it would cost me €2!! Considering there are no hospitality trays in the rooms I found that to be ridiculous. She was the only member of staff that let this hotel down. Otherwise it's a very affordable, clean hotel to stay in when in Santiago de Campostela.

Wir hatten Zimmer 115 in der 1. Etage des 10-stöckigen Hotels mit 160 Zimmern. Das Zimmer mit Vinylboden, einer Kofferablage und einem großen Kleiderschrank war sehr geräumig mit zwei großen bequemen Betten. Die Türen zum Kleiderschrank waren verzogen und schlossen nicht, was auch an der Tür vor der Minibar der Fall war. In der Minibar befand sich eine gekühlte Flasche Wasser, eine Preisliste für Getränke gab es nicht. Das moderne Bad mit Fliesen hatte leider nur eine Badewanne, in der aber eine moderne Dusche mit Regendusche vorhanden war. Dazu gab es ein Doppelwaschbecken und einen Föhn, aber Kleenex-Tücher und Zahnputzgläser fehlten. Die Einrichtung des Wohnzimmers war schlicht; ein 45“ Fernseher war an der Wand über dem Schreibtisch befestigt, Steckdosen am Schreibtisch und an den Nachttischen fehlten genauso wie ein Papierkorb. Dafür war die Beleuchtung gut. Die vorhandene Klimaanlage schien abgestellt zu sein, denn sie reagierte nicht auf die eingestellte Temperatur. Dafür ließ sich das große Fenster öffnen, das auf den Platz vor dem Haupteingang wies. Ein Safe war vorhanden und das kostenlose WLAN war ein offenes Netz mit durchschnittlicher Bandbreite, das aber immer gut funktionierte. Per Satellit ließen sich auch deutsche Fernsehsender empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, denn man konnte die Gespräche aus dem Nebenzimmer deutlich vernehmen. Das Personal an der Rezeption, im Restaurant und an der Bar war sehr freundlich, allerdings waren immer nur sehr wenige Servicekräfte verfügbar. Man merkte das vor allem im Restaurant, das sich im Kellergeschoss befand, wo es ein Büffet gab und sich die Gäste nicht nur die Speisen, sondern auch die Getränke selbst abholten. Für dieses ungewöhnliche Verfahren war an der Seite eine Getränkeausgabe eingerichtet worden, an der man bestellte, bezahlte und die Getränke zum Tisch mitnahm. Das führte regelmäßig zu langen Warteschlangen. Das Frühstücksbüffet war ordentlich; es gab frische Früchte und alles, was man für ein kontinentales oder amerikanisches Frühstück brauchte. Naturgemäß war auch hier die Warteschlange an den Kaffeeautomaten lang. Das Büffet am Abend war etwas langweilig, weil es nur wenig Abwechslung gab. Die Salate waren immer gleich: Kopfsalat, Möhrenschnipsel, Gurken- und Tomatenscheiben ohne Dressing. Das musste man sich selbst mit Öl, Essig und Gewürzen selbst zubereiten. Andere Salate mit Eiern, Nudeln oder Wurststücken wurden auch angeboten, dazu jeweils eine Paella, der aber die Würze fehlte. In den Warmhaltebehältern waren immer Fleisch- und Fischgerichte vorhanden, zu denen Kartoffeln, Nudeln oder Reis angeboten wurden. Leider war es immer sehr laut im Speiseraum, weil große Reisegruppen kamen und eine Hektik verbreiteten. In der Cafeteria im Erdgeschoss war es deutlich ruhiger, aber dort fand sich nur eine Bar mit einem großen Getränkeangebot sowie Bocadillos und Gebäck. Insgesamt handelt es sich um ein modernes Hotel mit einem 4-Sterne-Standard, das durchaus empfehlenswert

Chose this hotel for overnight as on outskirts of SDC for easy get away next morning. Situated high on a hill the rooms face the courtyard or the pool/ tennis court, town and busy road. Super easy parking. Decor is a bit 80s time warp, but the hotel has a slightly faded grand hotel layout with sitting areas about, wide corridors and spacious rooms. we took a family room so we had 2 double beds for a bit more space rather than 2 small singles. Due to Covid the room was a bit *****ped down...no kettle, minibar, robes, slippers, notepad etc. Very clean. Got a complimentary bottle wine but no corkscrew to open it. Good basic buffet breakfast with plastic gloves to wear to use buffet. Simón, who checked us in was charming and very helpful giving us all the useful info. Good wifi. Did hear some noise from nearby room with kids going crazy but just a few hours in the evening. Wonderful huge size bath. Great linen and pillows and very comfy bed made for good nights sleep. Would use again. If you want to open windows ask for a room facing the courtyard so there is no road noise. Room service limited hours but came fast and was delicious. Very good value for what we paid and a great night's sleep.

Es braucht eine Renovierung, aber wir fanden es gut für Geld. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet

Cute, charming property, however the service was HORRIBLE. The owner even screamed at me! We were a group of 12 people walking the Camino. The first person of my group arrived by herself, and they didn’t want to send her a taxi as it was promised on the reservation. They said that they don’t send taxis for just one passenger, and this client Sofia, had to wait two hours for her parents to join her, and then, the hotel sent the taxi. She was by herself two hours in a restaurant without knowing what to do. The booking company never informed us that in order to receive a taxi a minimum of guests was required. The waiter at the restaurant at dinner times was distracted, mixing orders, and trying to convince one of my clients that he can’t take a Martini and a glass of wine at the same time! One or the other! Who cares! If the client pays for both drinks, the waiter is nobody to be judging a client’s drinking behavior. One of the guests requested salt three times for French fries, with no results. He finally went to another table to ask other hotel guests for the salt they had in their table. And I can continue for hours describing the lack of professionalism in this place. We are all Spanish speaking, therefore no language barrier. The owner, as I said, he was very arrogant and uneducated. I was talking to him, standing by his table, while he was eating cheese and bread. He never stopped eating and/or invited me to the table, and/or standing so he can be talking to me at the same physical level (basic rules of education); I addressed the taxi situation in addition to the fact that they left my luggage into another client’s room, making this totally inappropriate for them and for me. Can you imagine if there was something missing from our suitcase? Who is responsible? Well, this man said that it was this client’s fault to “accept” these suitcases into their room. Unbelievable!! He was one of these persons “My way or the highway.” Rooms have no AC, no elevator, and no phones! I had one towel only for two guests, and when I was in the shower, I noticed it and there was no phone to call the receptionist. The shower gel dispenser was empty. The room was not clean. When I addressed these issues to the lady in the morning at checkout (I am suspicious that she was his wife) she just said “Vale” (Ok) No apologies, she was not surprised, and she mentioned that if I wanted another towel, I should have used my cellular. I replied that making an international phone call to request a towel was totally unthinkable. Last, we were “lucky” to have the owner driving us back to the Camino. He never opened us the door, or the trunk; never helped with our luggage; he was comfortable seated by the wheel all the time. And he drove us super-fast to intimidate us. Terrible! Stay away from this place.
