We struggled to find hotels in Santander that would accept pets and the good points of this hotel is that it accepts pets, has secure car parking and is in a good central location. I’m afraid that the positives stop there. Although modern and I think fairly new this hotel feels worn and tired already. There is a strong smell of cigarettes and greasy food in the entrance and the lifts. The corridor to our room had stained carpet and our room smelled damp. There was little interaction from staff on the front desk although we were offered a map when we checked in and we decided to give breakfast a miss as the dining room/bar looked more like a canteen. Definitely a paws down from our dog. We would give Santander a miss rather than stay here again.
