Aqua Hotel Montagut Suites

Lovely hotel quite close to the beach. Voucher for a complimentary drink is a lovely gesture. Room was excellent, very spacious and comfy bed. Really good selection at breakfast but some of the cooked food could have done with being a tad warmer Stayed the night that Spain won the football so it was lovely watching all the celebrations and fireworks. I must give special mention to Daniel. We left our passports in Barcelona so were panicking a little at checkin. Daniel was so professional and empathetic and did everything in his power to sort out our problem which of course he did and ensured we did not miss the boat trip we had booked. It could have been so different so we cannot thank Daniel enough.

This would have been a 5 as hotel was excellent, however on Wednesday I booked an excursion through the hotel to go on Barcelona Panoramic Tour with Pekin Tours to go on Friday Morning which left at 9.15 am when we got to Barcelona to Gaudi Church the tour guide said be back for 11.50 am we were back for 11.50am but the bus had already left , so when we went back to hotel told them the bus left us in Barcelona explained that we had to walk 6 miles from Gaudi to La Catyluna I was told by Kamilla the receptionist there were closer train stations than that , which I found a pretty poor comment considering I stay in Scotland I would like her to come to Scotland and try an find a train Station so as I explained at the time it wasn’t the hotels fault but given the fact I booked it through them they were willing to do nothing to help me get my 90 euros back which again I thought was pretty poor. Given the fact it cost me £1600 to stay there for a week. As I said at the start the Hotel was excellent food was good staff in general were pretty good and friendly as well
