When I decided to visit wine country I knew a hotel would not do so I searched on alternatives and found The Gables. It was perfect! Charming accommodations, affable hosts, delicious breakfasts, great location, and the wine passport was a huge perk that we took advantage of. We truly enjoyed all aspects of our stay and if I find myself in the area again I would not even look at other places!

We've stayed at many B&Bs and this was among the best. Great breakfast, hospitable and and warm hosts. Pam & Larry know when to engage in conversation and when to give us privacy. House is well-kept and property is well maintained. Only wish we had more time to explore.

Lovely bed & breakfast where you can relax in a beautiful setting and enjoy a hearty breakfast as you set out for your day. Pam & Larry are kind and helpful hosts. They even lent me their parking pass so I could hike at Taylor Mountain. A glass of wine is offered each evening and coffee service and fresh water is available.

Innkeepers Pam and Larry really deliver the "breakfast" in B&B. You start each day with a gourmet, three-course meal featuring locally sourced ingredients. With a full belly, you venture out to explore Sonoma County from the inn's prime location just south of Santa Rosa. In the evening, you enjoy a bottle of the wine you brought back while sitting among the vines of the inn's own vineyard. For a romantic wine country weekend, an ordinary hotel just does not measure up to the experience of staying at the Gables.

We stayed out in the Milkhouse, which was nice and private with a kitchen. The grounds are beautiful to relax, and the breakfast was truly top-notch. Pam and Larry are so sweet and lovely to talk to. We'd love to come back sometime and we'd recommend it for anyone!

The gables wine country inn was lovely. We enjoyed our two night stay. Larry and Pam are warm and hospitable and it was a pleasure to stay with them. The rooms are well furnished and very comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous with many places to sit and relax and a lovely outdoor fireplace. We had two delicious breakfasts cooked by Larry and Pam and they were very accommodating of dietary restrictions. We loved our stay and hope to return again when we are in the area.

Amazing hosts, food, location, and establishment. This was our first time in wine country and we might just have to stay here again for our second. Everything was so relaxing and inviting from the moment we arrived right through to our checkout.

The hosts with the most . Pam and Larry are passionate about making sure that you have a wonderful stay. The home and property is a special place. The rooms are very large, clean and cozy. The breakfast every morning was fantastic with Pam serving and explaining Larry’s creation for the day. We also took advantage of having a dinner served to us in their vineyard for 3 couples. The location is a great home base for winery touring in every direction. We highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful time! We stayed at the cottage and it was lovely, had our own fireplace with a small refrigerator and some utensils, so we had a nice little dinner with local goods and wine we purchased in nearby stores. The location is perfect to visit Sonoma. The breakfast was very delicious and generous. Samantha and her husband took very good care of us. Definitely recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast!
