Casa Avelina Boutique Hostel

I recently stayed at Casa Avelina in Santa Marta to celebrate my bachelorette party, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My Maid of Honor and I stayed in the Suite, and we had our first party there—a Princess Diaries-themed Pajama Party. The entire stay was nothing short of magical. A special shoutout to Mali, who was an exceptional server and took care of us throughout our stay. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel truly special. We also want to thank Nicolás at the Lobby for his help and support, as well as his kind and generous words. The entire staff was wonderful, and the service was outstanding. The hostel was always impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. Casa Avelina is in an excellent location in the city, which made exploring Santa Marta very convenient. The private security at night provided an extra layer of comfort, and we always felt safe coming and going. We also want to extend our deepest thanks to the Food & Beverage Director and the Hostel Manager for making everything possible and for treating us like we were at home. Casa Avelina will always hold a special place in my heart, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Marta.

So glad I booked to stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the place was spotless, and the dorms were comfortable and cool thanks to the air con. Easy to get cabs to the centre using the indrive app (didn’t feel like the safest of walks to do solo). The pool area was beautiful and a really nice place to chill. Only downside was no hand soap in the bathrooms

Super hospitable and friendly personnel. The common areas as garden and restaurant are nice. The hostel was established 4 years ago so the facilities are pretty new. And I loved the theme which was focused on the diversity of bird species in Colombia

El Lugar es muy lindo. El hospedaje nos incluyó desayuno, a un buen precio. Tiene restaurante y la comida es deliciosa, Los precios son módicos, suele haber 2x1 en cócteles, bebidas y algunos platos de la carta. La piscina parece pequeña pero es perfecta para disfrutar hasta las 10 pm. Las habitaciones tienen detalles por mejorar como pintura, TV y algunas manchas en las paredes por limpiar. Hace falta donde colgar la ropa mojada, no es suficiente con dos tenderos para todos los huéspedes. Hay oxidación en algunas cosas de metal pero entiendo que la sal y el calor juegan en contra. Las camas 2x2 podrían ser más cómodas, se siente la unión de los colchones 1X1. El personal es muy amable, prestos a dar solución a los inconvenientes que puedan presentarse. Volveremos.

Es un excelente lugar para hospedarse, es limpio y muy bonito. Las habitaciones son bonitas, limpias, el aire acondicionado solo se enciende en la noche. Las habitaciones compartidas no cuentan con toalla o jabón para baño. La piscina es limpia y la comida también es rica

Nos gusto mucho el hostel, es un lugar seguro, tranquilo y cómodo Las áreas comunes con muy agradables y acogedoras. La comida rica. El aseo en los baños podria ser mucho mejor. Muchas gracias a todo el personal por su atención y colaboración.
