Is Morus Relais

Schöner Pool aus der Ferne, aber CLOAQUE aus der Nähe gesehen. Sehr teures Catering, eine kleine gegrillte Goldbrasse ohne Beilage 54 €!!, selbst im Ausland habe ich noch nie so viel bezahlt. Sehr schlechtes Frühstück Rauchen ist am Strand, am Swimmingpool und auf der Restaurantterrasse verboten, ein Ort ist dafür angegeben, mit Sofas und Tischen, die mit Taubenkot verschmutzt sind und in 10 Tagen nie gereinigt wurden, ganz zu schweigen von überquellenden Aschenbechern, die 1 × in 10 Tagen geleert wurden . Das frühmorgens tätige Reinigungspersonal ist extrem laut und kommt nach kurzem Klopfen zurück, ohne auf eine Antwort zu warten (keine Karte: keine Störung verfügbar). Abends Katastrophengebiet da keine Animation oder Bar mit Atmosphäre. Kurz gesagt, wenn Sie Nichtraucher sind, keine Kinder haben, nicht auf Hygiene und Catering achten, älter sind und keine "festliche Atmosphäre" brauchen, und ich übrigens, don Geh nicht dorthin, selbst für dich wäre es hässlich. Schade, dass diese Meinung auf der letzten Seite so ausgestrahlt wird, sehr wenig zu sehen.

Food awful! Don’t go for half board - try to avoid nearly all meals if possible. Also, the facilities are bordering on abysmal. The restaurant is genuinely awful- at best, frozen and tasteless; at worst- inedible. We were there for 2 nights which was also when a small wedding of less than 40 was happening. Due to this smal event - a lot of the dining areas and pool were blocked off to regular guests. I would hope that the food was so bad due to the kitchen being understaffed, but either way, it was terrible. The beach bar and other areas were already closed- this is not indicated when booking so make sure to ask in advance. Overall the service staff appeared grossly inexperienced, alongside a lack of care, although friendly. The bar is overpriced. No info given about the hotel at check in, but also no phone in the room to contact reception. However, the views are truly stunning and I cannot argue about the location and beach. Only come if you have a car to access food elsewhere. Also check if they are having a private event as this will impact your stay. As we were checking out another wedding was being set up- so would have experienced another day of limited staff and facilities.

So let’s start on the positives; Excellent location, right on beach with Sun loungers, staff at reception especially Michelangelo were fantastic, friendly and helpful, pretty gardens, big rooms. Negatives- definately not a 4 star hotel. It needs a major update , it’s old and outdated ( and there are touches a 4 star hotel has that this does not ie. Toiletries given were only soap , shampoo and shower gel - no conditioner , body lotion, etc) Hard lumpy pillows ( only gave 2 and had to request more) , a few weddings took place and one in particular went on in the resturant in front of our room until 1am with the music blasting. We were not informed about the wedding going on until so late and when enquired all we got is that it ends at 1am- once again 4 star hotels don’t treat guests with indifference. Safe still uses a key. For the price charged ( we had 2 sea view rooms), I would not return. This place could be an absolute gem if there was some attention to detail. The bones are good but please update the furniture, curtain rails and general public areas to make it more appealing in the eye for guests.

We have been there for a wedding and slept over for a night only. Not easy to recognise once there so went straight down to the road ( as everyone else did ). The rooms were quite aged and definitely need a refresh, love the style but for the money we paid I would have expected more in terms of maintenance. The rooms were cleaned but around the residence there was not a bin or an ashtray so some glasses were left behind and stayed around for hours and hours with members of staff passing by them several times and ignoring them.

Absolutely perfect

If you look for a heaven on Earth, a beautiful quiet place with incredible scenery and perfect service, Is Morus Relais is definitely the right choice. The place itself is over the top, with its huge garden/ park full of oleanders, hibiscus, pine and olive trees and other vegetation and two private sand beaches directly next to the hotel. However, in addition to all this, the atmosphere and allover fabulous service make Is Morus unbeatable. All the staff is very polite, kind and helpful – in every moment you can feel that the guests´ well is the most important here. The hotel manager, the ladies at the reception, the chef and the pastry chef and their team, the waiters, barkeepers, lifeguards, housekeepers and the other staff provide every single quest with an excellent service, combining both high professionality and graciousness. They kind of become „a part of your family“ and give you another reason for wanting to come back to this amazing hotel as soon as possible. In spite of the spacious facility, the hotel capacity is not even 50 rooms in the main building which allows the staff not only to treat the hotel guests in a unique way but also gives more than enough privacy for whatever you decide to do or wherever you want to spend you time – whether it is the beach (the sunbeds, towels and parasols are free of any extra charge), the garden, the pool, the bar or any of the hotel restaurants. I was accommodated in the main building, only about 50 meters from the beach and the sea, the Mediterranean type of room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with a spacious balcony to sit and watch the sea. There are also a few villas in the huge garden – certainly a great choice if you want to come with the whole family or friends and want even more privacy. The dining is fabulous at Is Morus – terrific food served at the terrace-type restaurants, with one side open to view and enjoy the sea even when eating. The cuisine offers all what foreigners love about Italian food – local, high quality products like fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, pasta, superb meat, great wine, perfect coffee… If you like to eat, you´ll get spoiled here more than you could have imagined… There is also a large swimming pool with a panorama view, overlooking the sea, about 50 meters from the main building – I haven´t tried it as I preferred the sea all the time, but, in stone, it looked perfectly maintained and inviting. I haven´t had the chance to try out the spa either, as I was so focused on other activities, but it also looked very inviting and romantic. And as for the sea – that is a dream at Is Morus. The spacious, long private white sand beach (and the other beaches along the coast as well) gives the opportunity not only for lazy enjoying, but also for long walks or swimming along the beautiful coast – a breathtaking mixture of wide abandoned sand beaches, rough rocks and Mediterranean vegetation. The water is crystal clear, absolutely top. Is Morus turned out
