Das Hotel ist in jeder Hinsicht gut und ist ein sehr gutes Hotel in Santa Cruz. Die Lage ist etwas weit vom zentralen Platz entfernt und erfordert ein Taxi. Ein Taxi zum Flughafen kostet 17 Dollar. Santa Cruz, die zweitgrößte Stadt Boliviens, ist eine wirtschaftlich entwickelte, schlichte Stadt, die als „Shanghai“ Boliviens bekannt ist. Auf dem Weg vom Flughafen zum Hotel scheinen wir an der tropischen Südsee angekommen zu sein, ganz grün und subtropisch, und das Plateau Uyuni, das morgens abfliegt, ist nur zwei Welten, zwei Klimazonen.

Ich habe im Hotel Camino Real seit vielen Jahren mit 12-14 Besuchen pro Jahr angegeben. Sie haben mich immer wie eine Familie behandelt und meine Anfragen und Bedürfnisse wie kein anderes Hotel, das ich angegeben habe, behandelt. Das Personal behandelt mich wie eine Familie und ist freundlich und hilfreich all die Zeit. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und mein Lieblingsmahl am Tag. Der Fitnessraum ist ein bisschen klein, aber komplett genug, um nach einem Tag Arbeit in ein gutes zu kommen. Die Lage ist hervorragend mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants in der Nähe von Fußgänger. Hoch empfohlen.

Der Service war fantastisch. Dalma, die am Vordertisch war super fantastisch wie der Besitzer Fernando balderrama palacios. Es war extrem sauber und modern aussehen. Die Lage war auch großartig. Insgesamt war es unsere beste Erfahrung in Südamerika in den letzten 6 Wochen. Wir beide würden es sehr empfehlen. Die meisten einschließlich des Besitzers sprachen Englisch sehr gut. Wenn wir zurückkommen, würde ich hier bleiben. Er kann einige große Vorschläge für Lebensmittel und andere Orte in Bolivien machen.

English & Español (debajo) I called the hotel and asked them if they offered any special honeymoon accommodations. I was told to include a comment in my reservation mentioning that I wanted the honeymoon package. I made a reservation through the Los Tajibos website. The morning after making the reservation I called to make sure they had made a note about my request and got verbal confirmation of such. When we arrived nothing of what they had mentioned (rose petals, champagne bottle, or breakfast in bed next morning) were set up or scheduled. To makes matters even worse, the room smelt like a wet dog. I went to the front desk with my complains. To no avail I was told that there was nothing they could do and that didn’t see my request on their system. I tried to be proactive and tell them that I was willing to even pay more to find a quick solution to the matter, but I was turned down and told there was nothing they could do. To make matters even worse, I tried to use the shower later that day and the cold water was shut off making it impossible to jump in the shower because of the scorching hot water. I was told by a staff member that this may be due to the work they are doing on the new buildings. Nevertheless, at no point during my stay or to this day was I offered an apology or remediation. I spend half of the year staying in different hotels and this has been by far the worst experience and service. I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for your lounging accommodations. Los Tajibos didn’t measure up to the special occasion and didn’t even try to make up for it. I have a really hard time understanding how it is 5-star hotel is specially compared to other newer alternatives in Santa Cruz. As I side note, I also had dinner at Jardin de Asia and had to wait over 90 min to get our food after ordering. Unfortunately, this hotel has become a far cry from what it once was. FYI: I stayed in room 156 on December 30th, 2021. Llamé al hotel y les pregunté si ofrecían algún paquete especial para luna de miel. Me dijeron que incluyera un comentario en mi reserva mencionando que quería el paquete de luna de miel. Hice una reserva a través de la web de Los Tajibos. A la mañana siguiente de hacer la reserva, llamé para asegurarme de que habían tomado nota de mi solicitud y recibí confirmación verbal. Cuando llegue al hotel, nada de lo que habían mencionado (pétalos de rosa, botella de champán o desayuno en la cama a la mañana siguiente) estaba preparado o programado. About as high-end a hotel as you'll find in Bolivia, though it's beginning to show its age (for instance there are a lot of cracked windows, and the rooftop pool/bar would provide an even more wonderful view if the perspex screen around it wasn't in so much need of a good cleaning). Most clients appear to be in tour groups or on business trips. I showed up after 3 days in the jungle covered in sweat and mud, and they seemed keen to get me out of the lobby as quickly as possible. It's at the end of a cul de sac and a bit of a slog from the nearest shops, restaurants, etc, but as a place to unwind after some hard trekking it fit the bill. I suspected (later confirmed) I had broken two ribs while trekking, and want to give particular props to the masseur who did absolutely the right thing by declining my appointment request and advising me to just take it easy - his professionalism probably saved my back further damage and I don't know too many in his position who would have made that call. Thank you.

Die Lage war großartig, nahe gelegene Restaurants in der Nähe zu Fuß entfernt, wenn Sie wählen. Die Lobby und die Zimmer sind gut gereinigt und willkommen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr professionell und der Empfangsleiter sprach Englisch, wünschen war eine große Hilfe für mich. Ich habe das Suitezimmer mit einem Jacuzzi reserviert, die erste, die sie uns reservierten, war nicht betriebsfähig und hatte Zeichen, die für Wartung zeigen. Wir fragten um Empfang und sie waren unwissend. Sie bewegten uns Zimmer, aber das zweite Zimmer war der WasserTemperatur im Jacuzzi nicht warm und als die Luftschiffe aufgeschaltet wurden, gab es einen schrecklichen Geruch. Wir hatten keine Mühe, wieder zu fragen, da wir glaubten, niemand verwendete sie.
