Hotels in der Nähe von Lake Erie Nor’easter, Sandusky

Ich habe in diesem Hotel viele Male geblieben und jedes Mal, wenn es meine Erwartungen wegbläst. Große Entfernung zum Cedarpunkt, sehr ruhig, hat ein fantastisches Donutsgeschäft neben ihm, das große geschätzte Donuts hat. Wenn ich in Ohio für Cedarpunkt verbleibe, ist das der Ort, an dem ich verbleibe! Sehr guter Service und alles!

For the price you can't beat this hotel. Exceptionally clean room and friendly staff. I will definitely stay there again next time we are in town.

On the positive side--decent breakfast, nice and helpful staff and the facilities are adequately nice, although a bit dated. But this was a Disaster of a hotel stay! The worst of 4 roadtrips across the US in the past two years! -day 1, I was checked in by a friendly staff member who appeared to be on her first day...she was also dealing with police who had been called on some guests, and a rather rude man on a ladder who was doing some work on a ceiling vent with very loud tools. We could not hear each other and the poor girl was fielding a phone call at the same time, which she could not hear. -successfully checked in, room smelled like dirty laundry. I later identified the old wrinkled shower curtain as the problem. I lived with it. -Day 2 locked out of my room after breakfast...key not working... and nobody was at the desk to assist after ringing the bell for 20 min. The hotel phone rang and went unanswered several times as I waited. I finally flagged down the breakfast worker who didn't know how to log in. Eventually she had to physically go to the Tru Hotel next door (same ownership) and another 15 minutes later a nice man reset my key card. I had now missed the 8AM tour that was the reason I was even at a hotel. -I noticed an email from Hilton Honors a bit later saying my 3 day prepaid reservation had been canceled...I called Hilton Honors to find out who canceled... 45 minute phone call! HH talked to the mgmt of the hotel and discovered that it was the hotel who canceled by mistake. I was concerned they would remove my property from the room while I was out, but I was assured it was fixed and that I would keep my same room. -Later that afternoon someone tried to enter my room with a key as I showered. I had the security lever in place (thank God). They then knocked and shook the door several times. By the time I got to the door they were gone. I went to the desk, nobody there again. Day 3, locked out again. Luckily, there was a nice young man at the desk who informed me that my reservation had been canceled...again!!! He listened patiently and logged in to make sense of what had happened. He was able to find my original reservation, acknowledged the absolute ****show I had endured at this Hampton Inn, and offered to comp my stay. (I didn't ask to be comped.) At this point in time I have not been refunded anything from Hampton Inn. Hilton Honors gave me 500 HH points (nothing really) and they questioned whether this hotel should be part of the HH program at all. He told me Hampton Inns are for truckers! 😆 -So I will patiently await my refund or partial refund, although not holding my breath. I'll revise if it ever comes through.

Nur eine Nacht während einer Hochzeit in Sandusky. Wir fanden das Eigentum attraktiv und unsere zweite Etage zwei Queen Zimmer komfortabel, sauber und ausreichend ausgestattet mit einem schönen Größen-TV, Mikrowelle, bescheidene Mini-Kühlschrank und in der Zimmersafe. Insbesondere geschätzt, dass das Badezimmer eine Wanderdusche ist, im Gegensatz zu einer traditionelleren Konfiguration von Dusche. Das Fehlen eines Kaffeemaschines im Zimmer war enttäuschend und die auf der Website Starbucks hatte begrenzte Stunden (6:00 - 9:00 Uhr). Das Resort ist unsachgemäß cashless, was bedeutet, dass sogar kleine Kaufe mit einer Kreditkarte erforderlich sind. Während wir viele der Einrichtungen während dieses Aufenthalts nicht genutzt haben, wurden der Pool-Bereich, öffentliche Räume, Restaurant, Bars und Markt einschließlich der angrenzenden Golfplatz eingeladen, die sich aus jüngsten Updates. Die Hotels sind sehr weit von dem einzigen Aufzug und den meisten Resorts entfernt. Das “Resort” verfügt über kleine Konventseinrichtungen, die sich stören könnten, wenn Sie für ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie entkommen. Würde sicherlich für einen längeren Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Cedar Point oder eine kurze Flucht betrachten.

Nach dem Lesen der Bewertungen dieses Hotels habe ich fast nicht buchen lassen. Aber es musste besser sein als die anderen Hotels in der Gegend. Ich bin froh, dass ich beschlossen habe, buchen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Suite ist schön groß und die beiden Fernsehsender waren großartig. Ich musste sagen, dass der einzige schlechte Teil der Hausaufbewahrung war. Keiner hat unser Zimmer gereinigt. Und ich musste um saubere Handtücher bitten. Ich bin jeden Tag aufgestanden, machte unser Bett und nahm auf. Ich erwarte nicht, dass die Hauspflege nach mir aufholen wird, aber für den Preis, den ich gezahlt habe, ich erwartete, mein Bett gemacht werden soll, neue Handtücher und der Boden schüttelte und moppte. Das war nie geschehen. Andernfalls waren die Betten komfortable und das Personal war nett. Ihr Zimmer kommt mit einem komplimentären Frühstück, es haben wir nie gegessen. Nur Kaffee. Wenn Sie sich also nicht um die Reinigung Ihres eigenen Zimmers kümmern, ist es ein gutes Hotel.
