When we arrived, we got a different room than we booked (we booked via Agoda with the AC, but got only with a fan). We ask the lady manager who was there and she said „No you did not“ and showed us some reservation on her mobile from a completely different company/website (with a completely different name of the room). We opened our laptop and showed her the description and pictures of the room we booked on Agoda and it was clearly with the AC. We were very surprised and shocked by what came next….she started very aggressively yelling at us something like „it’s your problem, not mine, I don’t have any responsibility for this, you solve it with Agoda, if you want a room with the AC, pay more (at that moment it was plus 1100 pesos for 2 nights stay), etc. She repeated herself over and over a did not even let us speak (literally every time we opened our mouths to say something, we said one or two words maximum and she yelled at us again). We remained calm on the outside at that time (even though inside we weren’t) and asked to speak with someone else (it wasn’t possible with this person), so her husband came and we tried to explain to him. At least he was not yelling and let us speak, so it was a normal decent human being conversation. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to solve anything or do anything or offer us some solution. He contacted Agoda and let us know he is waiting for the reply. We waited there for like 2 hours and they were not able to come up with some solution. We even tried to negotiate some solution working for both sides, we’ve had several suggestions, but he only told us he is waiting for the answer, later he offered us a „discount“ (instead of plus 1100 pesos we were supposed to pay plus 800 pesos), but that’s not what we booked and already paid for, we did not want to pay that much money extra. In the end, we arranged a deal that he will cancel our stay with Agoda and charge us 50% (so we should get at least a 50% refund). The deal was he will send the email and put us in the copy. Meantime we found a different hotel so we left after this arrangement. Of course, we received nothing in our mailbox. After two days we stopped by, just to ask why he didn't put us in the copy as we arranged, he started making excuses showing us only a screenshot on his mobile from an application that said „Agoda customer service has 2 days to respond“, but not actual request or whatever he sent them. He said he has it on a laptop, so I asked him to bring the laptop then. He went inside their house and we waited …. quite a long time… then the aggressive lady showed up and started yelling at us again something like „You did not book the room with the AC“ again and again, we really tried to tell her we are here just to see the email confirmation we dealt on. She continued yelling things like „leave this place“, „you are not welcomed here“, „I will call the police“, „I’m Filipino, you can’t do anything“, etc. We rather left than continue with this nonsens
