Beautiful small Lodge outside San Pedro de Atacama. Lovely view from the Lodge on to the volcano’s. The host family was very welcoming and gave a lot of travel tips for the region. Without a car the Lodge might be a little too far off from the city.

The stunning views from this lodge will never leave me. Huge thanks to Franklin and his wife, along with Juan, for such a lovely warm and welcoming stay. Always on hand to help and hear how your day went. The rooms are basic but have a huge bed and are clean, comfortable and a perfect temperature, with fantastic views of the mountains and volcano Licancabur. We loved the breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs and juice, and the honesty fridge was a great touch.

We chose this lodge for its position outside the town to make the most of the views and peaceful location. It was wonderful very relaxing and a good location to explore the area. We had hired a SUV at Calama airport. The views of the mountains range, the volcano Lincacabur and the Milky Way were stunning. Every room faces Lincacabur - and what a view to wake up to. The service levels are exceptional. Before arrival we had a WhatsApp from Franklin sending us a link to maps for directions, a list of restaurant recommendations and even the Wifi password. At the lodge Franklin was most helpful in helping us plan an itinerary to suit our photographic needs and was genuinely interested to hear how our days had gone.. He certainly elevated our stay to exceptional. In fact we spent a further two days the other side of town at a more luxurious lodge with a swimming pool but after 10 mins arrival wished we were back at Planeta. Highly recommend. A must visit is La Franchuteria in town. The best croissants and pain au chelate I have tasted outside France. Wonderful bakery.

What a spot. Perfectly quiet, amazing views, great location, excellent breakfast and best staff. Rooms were perfectly fine, clean and spacious. The manager Lancelot was a pleasure to interact with and was extremely helpful. Kudos to Planeta Atacama Lodge !! Would defiantly recommend to anyone going to San Pedro de Atacama.

Beautiful eco friendly lodge on the outskirts of town with amazing views from every room of the desert and volcanoes. Franklyn and his wife were incredibly helpful in providing information about the area, tours, restaurants etc and we especially appreciated him looking after our suitcases for 3 days while we did the uyuni tour. Nothing was too much trouble and would highly recommend staying here.

Sérénité pour qualifier cet endroit. En retrait du centre ville (15-20 min. à pieds). Super petit déjeuner avec une purée d’avocat top. Vue sur le licancabur de toutes les chambres, de la terrasse et de la salle du petit déjeuner. Grande chambre simple mais paisible. L’accueil est top. Franklin est un manager très disponible et aux petits soins pour les clients. Et il peut aussi organiser votre séjour de A à Z. Plusieurs hamacs pour la sieste ainsi qu’un endroit spécialement dédié pour l’observation des étoiles. Petit bémol sur le prix.
