Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Kreuzfahrtterminal. Dementsprechend sind hier vor allem jede Menge Kreuzfahrt Touristen zu Gast. Somit kann es beim Check in schon mal sehr voll werden. Vor allem wenn gerade ein Bus mit Kreuzfahrern angekommen ist. Das Einchecken ist auch recht umständlich, denn dies geht erst NACH 16 Uhr. Nach einem 11 Stündigen Flug standen wir um 15:45 Uhr an der Rezeption. Dann sagte man uns, man würde uns auf eine Liste setzen und wir müssten jetzt halt bis 16 Uhr warten. Keine Ahnung was das für eine Liste sein soll. Auf unsere Verwunderte Frage hin warum wir denn nicht schon einchecken könnte, selbst wenn das Zimmer noch nicht fertig ist kann man ja normalerweise schon einchecken, meinte der Herr an der Rezeption nur, das Management will das so. Wir setzten uns also und warteten. Dann kam einer der besagten Busse mit Kreuzfahrern. Sofort war eine Riesen Schlange an der Rezeption, und die Personen wurden auch sofort bedient und konnten Einchecken. Da waren die fehlenden 15 Minuten egal. Netzt MUSSTEN wir zwangsweise warten bis wir an der Reihe waren. Nach einem 11 Stündigen Flug ist so ein Verhalten einfach unmöglich. Fazit: Wenn man nicht gerade eine Kreuzfahrt gebucht hat sollte man ein anderes Hotel suchen.

Hubby and I decided to stay here for a change. It's located at a busy intersection with many stores across the street. The first thing I noticed was the essential elements of Victorian architecture inside the building. The looks created goosebumps. I started picturing the movie ”1408,” but the building is up to the 4th floor only. Don't panic! Nothing happened here. Don't watch too many scary movies and you'll be all right! The pool was closed temporarily so we couldn't enjoy it. I used the gym and business center. Unfortunately, I couldn't print anything at the business center, so I had to save the files and send them to the employee at the front desk so that they could print them for me. The computers worked fine, though. We got a complimentary daily breakfast. It was ok, with minimal choices. I tried it once and didn't return the next day because we found an excellent place to get our breakfast. The employees are friendly and helpful. The parking situation is a plus, easy access to the lobby and from the entrance, you need a key in the elevator to go up to the 3rd or 4th floor or your room. I used the gym. The hotel needs some newer equipment for sure. The treadmill wasn't working, so I used the elliptical and weight machines. Although it's located in a busy area, I prefer the location near the water we stayed in last time. That was Crowne Plaza hotel. Anyway, the room condition was ok. The bed wasn't very comfortable, though. Our room faced the pool that wasn't working at the time. It was not a busy season. We joked around that we were the only guest on the first day. After the first day, I saw...people, not dead people, phew! We're safe! We're not sure whether we will stay here again, but the location is not for me.
