The Artist Condo is a spacious and luminous condo and art gallery that shows the work of local artists. We're located in Barrio Dent at a walking distance from Barrio Escalante, the cultural and gastronomic epicenter of San José. NO PARTIES/NO FIESTA We strictly abide by all sanitary measures related to Covid-19 by instructing our staff to guarantee the health standards, including handwashing, social distancing, use of gloves and masks, deep disinfection of our residence. Everyone is welcome About the space: ENGLISH It is important that you check all the house rules before you make the reservation. In case of not complying with the rules, you will be asked to leave with no refund. Our space has 3 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen, a large living room, a dining room, and a laundry room. It's located on the sixth floor of an iconic apartment building from the 60s with elevator access. From the living room, you have a unique view of the city and mountains. Barrio Dent is at a 5 min peaceful walk from Barrio Escalante, a beautiful bohemian neighborhood. A walk-in its streets will be enough to be amazed by its artistic manifestations, murals, the hip Francia Park, design stores, and hidden treasures. You’ll be able to find all kinds of gastronomic offers, from vegan and vegetarian to fine cuts of meat. The renowned supermarket “Auto-Mercado” is 1 min away and a shopping center 5 min away. Also, it’s at a walking distance of less than 15 min from the emblematic art house movie theatre “Magaly” and all the main museums of the city: The National Gallery of Contemporary Art and Design (MADC), Jade Museum, The Costa Rican National Museum, The Gold Museum, and others. Also, we're located at a 45min drive or 1hr bus from the magical volcanoes Irazu and Poas. In our gallery space, we’re currently showing the work of: Karina Torres Vargas, José Manuel Oviedo Cruz, Gabriela Sancho Solano, Javier Fernández Araya, and Diego González Rosales. - ESPAÑOL Es importante que acepte seguir todas las reglas de la casa antes de confirmar su reserva. Está ubicado en Los Yoses a unos pasos del Barrio Escalante, el epicentro cultural y gastronómico de San José. Cumplimos estrictamente con todas las medidas sanitarias relacionadas con el Covid-19, instruyendo a nuestro personal para garantizar los estándares de salud, incluidos el lavado de manos, el distanciamiento social, el uso de guantes y máscaras y la desinfección profunda de nuestra residencia. Todes son bienvenides Nuestro espacio cuenta con 3 amplios dormitorios y 2 baños completos, una cocina moderna totalmente equipada, una gran sala de estar, comedor y una lavandería. Se encuentra en el sexto piso de un emblemático edificio de apartamentos de los años 60 con acceso por ascensor. Desde la sala se aprecia una vista única de la ciudad y las montañas. Barrio Dent se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie del Barrio Escalante, un hermoso barrio bohemio. Un paseo por sus calles será suficiente para sorprenderse con sus manifestaciones artísticas, murales, el moderno Parque Francia, tiendas de diseño y tesoros escondidos. Podrá encontrar todo tipo de ofertas gastronómicas, desde veganas y vegetarianas hasta cortes finos de carne. El famoso supermercado "Auto-Mercado" está a 1 minuto de distancia y un centro comercial a 5 minutos. También está a una corta distancia a pie de menos de 15 minutos del emblemático "Cine Magaly" y de los principales museos de la ciudad: El Museo Nacional de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo (MADC), el Museo Jade, el Museo Nacional de Costa Rica, El Museo del Oro y otros. Guest access EN Many museums and restaurants are less than a 10-minute walk away, so you can move around this way, by public transport or by car. We have 1 private parking space for a car or SUV. Contamos con 1 espacio de estacionaimiento privado para un automóvil o SUV. Other things to note HOUSE RULES - No parties are allowed at any time. This includes listening to loud music. - No smoking in the apartment or common areas of the building - No animals are allowed inside the apartment. - The artwork currently showing in our gallery space can not be touched or damaged. - If there is any damage to the apartment or if any of the rules are not followed, a fee of up to $300 USD can be charged and you will be asked to leave the apartment immediately with no refund.
