Eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp, herzliche Begrüßung durch die Signora. Komfortables Zimmer mit erfrischendem Duschraum. Das Hotel ist voller Gemälde und (vor allem) Porträts von La Signora – die, wie wir glauben, von ihrem Ehemann gemalt wurden. Kein Touristenhotel, sondern voller Charakter und Charme, anscheinend von Stammgästen besucht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn unsere Reise es zuließe.

Umwerfende Anlage mit einer tollen und bereits gelebten Vision Alleine die Anlage sorgt für einen hervorragenden Empfang und mit der netten Rezeptionistin ist man auch schnell eingecheckt sowie informiert. Wir - deutsches Paar Anfang 30 - hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und waren mit unseren vier Übernachtungen glücklich. Die Anlage ist in traumhafter Lage und liegt auf einem der toskanischen Hügeln. Sie befindet sich abseits und wartet mit einer Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe auf sich. Dorthin gelangt man über zwei Seiten, wobei eine Seite mit einer italienisch ländlichen Straße sehr holprig daherkommt - teilweise auch größere Schlaglöcher. Es handelt sich um ehemalige Ruinen, die hochwertig und mit Liebe zum Detail vollständig restauriert wurden. Das zählt nicht nur für die Gebäude, sondern auch für die Gartenanlage sowie die Zimmer. Während unseres Aufenthaltes (Mitte April) waren zwei von den drei Restaurants geöffnet. An zwei von den vier Abenden haben wir in dem „einfacheren“ Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und konnten uns kulinarisch von dem Konzept (siehe Vision) der Villa Petriolo überzeugen. Am einen Abend gab es das typisch toskanische Menü „Quinto Quarto“ und am anderen das Bistecca, beide Gerichten waren feine Küche. Dazu wählten wir den hauseigenen Chianti und beim anderen Mal den hauseigenen Golpaja, welcher sehr ausgewogen und trocken, aber nicht allzu schwer ist. Vision Villa Petriolo Daniele, der Manager, wacht über das noch junge Projekt (Eröffnung 06/2021) und ließ uns einen schönen kurzen Einblick in die Vision des italienisch/mexikanischen Projekts zuteil werden. Nachhaltigkeit, Qualität und Luxus gepaart mit erschwinglichen Preisen sind die Elemente. Die Vision wird aber bereits gelebt, Elemente hiervon sind beispielsweise die Nachhaltigkeit bei Lebensmittel und Pflegeprodukte einschließlich das Preisgefüge. Die Speisen und das Ölivenöl werden aus eigener Bewirtschaftung hergestellt, ebenso die Weine sowie der Prosecco. Die Preise sind mehr als fair, denn die Idee ist das Angebot der Villa Petriolo nicht nur Touristen, sondern auch den Einheimischen anzubieten. Aktuell befindet sich das Projekt bei 50% Fertigstellung, es fehlen noch das Spa (04/2023) und eine weitere Villa für ausschließliche Einzelkundenbuchungen (04/2024). Wir sind also gespannt und wollen mit der Eröffnung des Spa einen weiteren Aufenthalt buchen. @Daniele: Grazie per la vostra gentilissima ospitalità e la vostra spontanea participation a Proposta Vini. Stunning facility with a great vision that is already being lived. The facility alone makes for an excellent welcome and with the nice receptionist you are also quickly checked in as well as informed. We - a German couple in our early 30s - had a very nice time and were happy with our four nights. The complex is in a fantastic location and is situated on one of the Tuscan hills. It is off the beaten track and offers seclusion and tranquillity. You can get there via two sides, one of which is very bumpy

Wir waren von der grünen Aussicht auf die Toskunien aus der Panoramaterrasse gedämpft. Es war beeindruckend durch seine endlose Schönheit und ruhige Frieden. Das Essen war absolut erstaunlich! Die Salate und die Ragu Lasavna waren die Highlights für uns. Wir waren mit den Kindern und sie haben das ganze Gericht fertig. Es gab keinen Bruch auf der Platte. Der Service war extrem freundlich und großzügig und der Preis war mehr als fair. Wir empfehlen das fantastische Hotel und Restaurant von Quatro Gigli und freuen uns auf bald wiederkommen.

Wir haben diese Struktur voller Erwartungen gebucht, aber über die Tatsache hinaus ist sie in grünen nichts mehr. Zimmer, in denen die Zeit ihre Zeichen verlassen hat, nicht auf der positiven Seite. Sie würde sicherlich eine gepflegte brauchen. Das Dreibettzimmer, in dem wir wohnten, hatte die Wände und die Decke mit der fallenden Farbe, der Geruch von Muffa aus dem Badezimmer, keine Lärmveränderung und im Einzelbettzimmer nicht einmal die Persen oder Träger geeignete Deckel. Es war fast um 5:30 Uhr auf dem Sonnenaufgang, und der Kühlschrank war im Zimmer aus, und es gab keine Flasche Wasser. Für Frühstücksbuffet frisch gekühlte Kornette, die zum Zeitpunkt gekocht und ein anderes süßes, für Salat, beide Tage haben wir Mortella, Käse, gebrochene Eier und Brot gefunden. Nicht frisches Obst, sondern Schiefer von Supermarkt. Wir haben auch für zwei Abendessen im Restaurant gegessen, das Fleisch, das der Hauptpunkt in Toskana sein sollte, war aber voller Nerven und vor allem wurde nicht einmal gefragt, welche Art von Küche es wollte. Um abschließend nach 2 Nächten und 2 Abendessen, 1200 Euro in der Gebäudeausgaben, nicht einmal die geforderte Wasserflasche im Auscheck (zu einem bescheidenen Betrag von 2,5 Euro) wurde angeboten. Der Kunde ist so schwer zurück. Der Ort hätte großes Potenzial, aber er braucht eine tiefe Umstrukturierung.
