Hier war 3 Nächte. Hatte ein Zwillingszimmer. Bett war komfortabel. Klimaanlage war gut. Badezimmer war nett und Duschedruck war gut. Frühstück war inbegriffen und war wirklich nett. Dieses Hotel verfügt über ein Waschraum, in dem Sie Ihre eigenen Kleidung für 1 € für die Waschmaschine und 1 € für den Trockner waschen und trocknen können. Dieses Hotel liegt nur einen Spaziergang vom Zentrum von San Jose und auch Barrio Escalante, das viele schöne Restaurants hat. Ich würde sicher noch einmal hier bleiben.

Wie jedes Selina Hostel gibt es Liebe in jedem Einzelteil - Dekoration, Licht, gute Möbel. Wir hatten das Deluxe Zimmer mit viel Platz, einen Tisch, eine Sofa, eigenes Badezimmer und gutem Komfort. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Wir hatten für 2 Tage kein warmes Wasser in unserem Zimmer, aber das Personal reagierte sofort, versuchte es zu reparieren und wir hatten ein kostenloses Frühstück und ein paar Geld zurück. Saubere Küche, genügend Kühlraum und ein kühler Sofaraum in der Wohnküche. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen und entspannenden Aufenthalt amd würde definitiv empfehlen, diese Hostel.

Vielleicht sind alle lokale Leute so, die Einstellung des Hotelservices ist allgemein, und die Einstellung des Frühstückspersonals geht auch. Das Zimmer ist gut, das ist, dass es einen Tag lang eine Wasser- und Stromausfall gibt, ohne Ausgleich. Die Waschmaschine ist ein Trockner-Partner, der 10 Dollar einmal gewaschen hat, aber die Waschmaschine ist nicht sauber und ist auch nicht sauber. Das nächste Mal wird es nicht mehr leben.

I really loved my stay at Posada el Quijote. It was my final night in Costa Rica before catching my flight back home and it was a brilliant place to relax and rest before the long journey. Fernando was really helpful and friendly, as was the other gentleman on reception in the evening. The pool has a brilliant view of San José, and being that bit higher up, there was a lovely breeze so it was a nice temperature for sunbathing. It was a 12 minute walk to a Fresh Market when I wanted to pop out for lunch and get supplies. The breakfast included had a range of options including gluten-free pancakes! There's a lovely dog called Perla on-site as well as seven cats. It felt like a nice homely place to stay. The pool could do with a little bit of TLC, as it needed a bit of fixing and cleaning in places, but it did the job for me as a final place to stay in Costa Rica.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The amenities, the service, the price, the food, the views, entertainment, everything will make you feel like royalty! You are met in the lobby with a warm smile & greeting from Alexander Bell boy and checked -in by Margoth. In the lounge you are personally greeted by Ronald day serve and Miguel Angel(night serve) who were very personable. Breakfast was deliciously prepared by Gaudy the cook. Even the housekeeper makes the toilet tissue decorative. Ezequiel, the concierge, was very helpful and all of the staff seemed to never forget a face or name. I must say.. I really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton.

Ich bin in Costa Rica gekommen und hier habe ich meine ersten beiden Nächte verbracht, als ich eine umfangreiche Reise durch die Nationalparks vorbereitet habe. Dieses Hotel bietet ein schönes Zimmer. Das Gebäude ist in Form eines ”O”, mit den Pools und Essensbereichen im Zentrum. Es waren viele verschiedene Arten von Vögeln, der Verkehr laut war minimal in der Poolzone, und ich genossen entspannen in der Poolzone. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und für alle Gäste verfügbar. Es wurde in einem kleineren Bar/Essenbereich mit einer Übersicht über den Poolbereich gekauft. Ich bestellte Lachs, und es war überraschend gut! Das ist kein Zielhotel, aber es war genau das, was ich brauchte, da ich meine internationalen Beiträge. Es gibt ein Tour Desk, in dem man eine Vielzahl von Touren und Tagesreisen von San Jose oder Gebieten um Costa Rica planen kann.

PROS: Very clean, air conditioned and modern for a good rate. Wifi and decent breakfast included. The stromanthe triostar plants in the lobby were very nice. CONS: Staff is miserable and takes no accountability for customer service. Stephanie literally lies to your face and tries to overcharge you. Examples: -”oh your safe is broken? just reset with code 123456.” nope. the safe code was set by a previous guest and left open so this didn't fix the problem. We had to take all our valuables on a 13 hour tour because of this - very inconvenient. -”oh, you need another towel because we only gave you 2 despite 3 people in the room? we'll send someone up right away”. no one ever shows. when you call back, if they ever pick up, they say the same thing. -”your shuttle from the airport is confirmed and the driver will have a sign with your name on it” nope; after a long trip we had no one to pick us up. The driver didn't have my booking (he had another name on the sign), so he called the hotel and they confirmed nothing had been booked for us. -”well there's no booking because you obviously have to book it in advance; how would we know you need a shuttle?”. Excuse me? Yes, in fact, I did book it in advance and showed them the email chain (7 emails) with her own confirmation 3 days earlier! -”ok so you found the driver, perfect”. No, not perfect as we've been searching in the sweltering heat, walking up and down through the crowds for 45 minutes with a small child after a long trip. An apology, not a dismissal would be more appropriate in this situation. After speaking to the driver and Stephanie (we are still in the heat outside the airport), Stephanie who confirmed the booking by email then blamed her colleague who in fact didn't book it, And, they still charged us $16 USD for it - which was like rubbing salt in the wound. -”it will be an additional $20 USD for the shuttle” - when they previous told me $16 USD (thankfully in writing) -”it will be $16 USD to have a child in the room” - when my confirmation clearly shows children stay free (thankfully in writing) -guests aren't ”allowed to use the stairs”; long wait for the elevator

Nice hotel and rooms very comfortable. The only issue is the huge traffic jam every morning to get out of the area.
