Just returned from a 4 night break at this hotel with friends (group of 3 ladies). This review is going to be very honest, with the good and the bad. We arrived at midday but were told we could not check in until 2pm, so we had to wait around for a couple of hours. However, we could use our all inclusive bands and go into lunch. The all inclusive is not so all inclusive, you pay for cocktails and very limited variety of drinks on offer. The only bar open during the day (apart from lunchtime) is the pool bar, where you will find Mario who was so friendly and helpful. However the pool bar snacks are a bit of a let down. There is only a small selection of patries and fruit, then pizza at 4pm.. If you're used to burgers, chips and icecreams during the day, then this is not the hotel for you. The food was very similar every day, although there was supposed to be a theme, the only night there was different food on offer was Mexican night. However the food was good and i always found something to eat. The reception bar is open for an hour during the day, and then opens again at 7pm. However it gets busy with only Julia running this. Julia was also lovely and friendly. In my opinion, this hotel is not for English tourists, it is far more catered for the Italians and we felt very isolated being the only English tourists, other than 2 x 2 girls, who felt the same as we did. We found some of the other tourists very rude and brash, which made us feel uncomfortable, so we went to the beach most days. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus, which was a god send. The beach is in walking distance but it was too hot too walk. The reception staff were very helpful and kind, especially Sonia, who guided us a lot. Unfortunaltey, the put me up sofa bed was broken in our room, we reported it and they just gave us a second mattress. However this did not solve the problem as it was the frame itself that was unstable, so my friends slept on the two mattress on the floor for the last two nights. Our sheets were not changed in the 4 nights we stayed, but we did get clean towels when we asked on the third day. The hotel is generally very clean with lots of staff onsite. The surrounding area is lovely and we had a sea view from our room, but the hotel is a good 15 mintus walk to any shops, which are by the beach. The beach in Son Bou is beautiful and you can hire loungers for 10 euros a day. We went to Mahon for a day by bus and enjoyed the market, shops and harbour. not sure if the market is everyday but we went on a Tuesday. The stalls were very similar but it was a nice change from the beach. There is not evening entertainment at the hotel, other than the kids bit, so evenings were a bit on the boring side for adults, sorry to say. On the last day we had to check out at 12pm, but our taxi wasn't picking us up until 5pm. At first we were told that we could only stay in the reception area and leave our bags in the baggage cupboard and that our all inclusive ended at 12 no
