Where to start…this place is beautiful and amazing. If you want to be in a quiet, secluded medieval village in Tuscany, this is the place. It is very old. But the place is so updated and kept in the period. Upon checkin, we were given a map of the resort. It looked overwhelming at first, but a quick tour of it fixed that. The service you will receive is the best. Be prepared for lots of steep hills and steps. If this is a problem, a golf cart or car will pick you up and take you where you need to be. Our room, which was Marta Terrazzo, room 108, was OUTSTANDING! It shares an entry way with one other unit. First room you enter is the living room with a log burning fireplace, chairs, table and a wonderful coffee machine. A nice window there too. Next is the bedroom with a king bed with the softest pillows. In this room there is a tv, a window and a door to your own patio! Private! Heading toward the bathroom you will have a walk in dressing closet and safe. Lots of places for clothes. Then the bathroom which was really pretty. It was the largest shower ever and it provided a great rainfall. There is a window there too. All of the windows and the patio door have not shutters but inside are swinging panels to block out the light. I’ve never seen anything like it. The property is lovely; there are horses with their babes in a few pastures. Breakfast is ordered from a set menu or the buffet. So many cheeses, meats, breads, and many other things to eat. Coffee is always really yummy. Dinner was great as well. Ate outside one night. Two nights inside. Pretty pools, not heated though. The wine cellar is unbelievable. Their own wines are made there and the tour was outstanding. Some Bottles start at $30 euros and we’re great. We drank so much wine. 🍷. Our guide was Sophia. She was awesome and so knowledgeable. The cooking class was fun, but the price was way too high for what we did and got. You make your meal with a group if you chose that route, and then later in he evening you eat what you made in the main dining room. Our dinner was potato gnocchi with a cheese sauce, meatballs in a prepared red sauce, and biscotti. It was really tasty! One night we left the property and had a dinner down the road to the left. That was great as well, a family owned place. Osteria dell’Oca Satolla, it is the only place near the resort. If you want to get around you need a car. We visited Arezzo, which was a quite nice little city maybe 45 minutes away, and Loro Ciuffenna is 15 minutes away and a cool little local town. Very hilly everywhere we went. We are glad that we stayed here. I have to say at first we thought, oh no what are going to do here? It was absolutely wonderful.

Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern und Bädern. Auch für Menschen mit XXXL-Size nicht zu eng! Sehr gute Betten. Gutes Restaurant mit sehr angenehmem Service. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Alles sehr sauber.

Unmittelbar außerhalb des Arezzo-Kastens A1 und 9 km vom Zentrum von Arezzo entfernt. Strategische Lage für Personen, die überqueren und sich am Rande des Pools mit einem guten Cocktail oder einfachen Kaffee entspannen möchten. Sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Rumme Zimmer, großes und komfortabeles Bett. Sehr gut und reichhaltiges Frühstück: Süße, Früchte und Salz. Es gibt auch ein SPA und ein Restaurant.

Wenn ich von diesen Orten zu einer bestimmten Stunde wechsel, kann ich nicht auf dem Viandant ein kleines Hotel für Reisende 1 km von Valdarno aussteigen. Einfache, aber perfekte Zimmer , TOP Frühstück und zusätzlich eine Schale für Kunden mit Kuchen und Saft jederzeit verfügbar.

Wir haben uns auf Grund des schönen Innenhofes für das Hotel entschieden. Leider mussten wir schnell feststellen, dass dieser nicht genutzt wird. Der Check In hat sehr lange gedauert, was auch daran lag, dass die Rezeption nur von einer Person besetzt war. So haben wir ca. 30 Minuten gewartet, bis ein Zimmer vor uns eingechecked hat, bevor wir überhaupt dran kamen, was ebenfalls sehr lange gedauert hat. Wir mussten ein COVID 19 Formular ausfüllen und unterschreiben, welches uns nur auf Italienisch vorgelegt wurde. Auf die Frage, ob es das auch auf englisch gibt und was in dem Formular stünde war die Antwort: No, just italiano, it' because of COVID.” Was wir letztlich unterschrieben haben, wissen mein Mann und ich immer noch nicht. Man erhält pro Person einen WLAN Code, sodass man nicht zusätzliche Geräte einloggen kann. Die Zimmer sind sehr verwinkelt und auch sehr klein, die Ausstattung ist sehr alt. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, sodass wir ständig die Nachbarn reden und Kinder schreien gehört haben. Das Frühstück ist auf Grund von COVID nicht in buffetform gewesen, was kein Problem sein sollte. Wir wurden am Eingang vom Servicepersonal aufgeklärt, dass es eine Karte gibt, wo wir ankreuzen mussten, was wir haben möchten. Das Service Personal stand stets vor der Küche und unterhielt sich. Leider kam auch nach 20 Minuten niemand um uns diese Karte zu bringen, sodass mein Mann sie sich eigenständig vom Service Tisch genommen hat. 2 Minuten später wurden wir gefragt, ob wir uns endlich was ausgesucht hätten. Leider wurde die Hälfte der Bestellung mehrmals vergessen. Bei unserer Rundreise habe ich mich am meisten auf dieses Hotel gefreut, da es wunderschön aussah und wurde leider am derbsten enttäuscht. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, um von hier die Stadt zu Fuß oder auch die Toskana mit dem Auto zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind ok, aber auch nichts Besonderes, denn das Hotel hat einen 80er oder max. 90er Jahre Charme. Wohlfühlcharakter gleich null. Also leider nichts von dem, was man gerade hier in der Toskana so sehr liebt. Es passt mehr in die Kategorie Businesshotel. Praktisch gut, aber lieblos. Das Personal ist freundlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück, leider im negativen Sinne! Erstens ist der Frühstücksraum sehr kalt und ambientefrei, es gibt nicht viel Tageslicht sondern viel künstliche Beleuchtung und die Bestuhlung ist recht eng, so dass es sehr laut ist, da es auch keinen Schallschutz gibt. Es hat ein wenig Kantinenflair. Und so ist auch das Buffet. Es gibt zwar viele unterschiedliche Dinge auf dem Buffet, aber es ist sofort zu erkennen, dass hier extrem an der Qualität gespart wird. Masse statt Klasse. Und es werden einfach nur Zutaten hingestellt statt sie etwas dekorativ anzurichten oder auch mal etwas mit Geschmack oder Kochkunst zu versehen. Wir waren meistens auswärts frühstücken, nachdem wir nach 3 Tagen die Nase voll hatten vom immer gleichen Hotelfrühstück. Sehr schade und unnötig. Wenn man also nur auf die Lage Wert legt, kann man hier ein paar Tage absteigen.

Wir hatten unsere Hochzeit hier ab Juni 30 - Juli 1. Wir buchten mehr als 2 Zimmer. 5 Jahre im Voraus und arbeiteten mit Antonella während des gesamten Prozesses. Sie war erstaunlich, mit zu arbeiten und sehr empfehlen, eine Hochzeit in Borgo zu haben! Wir vermieten das ganze Eigentum ausschließlich für uns und Gästen für das Wochenende. Die Grundstücke sind so schön mit Blick auf den ganzen Borgo. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr schön mit einem rustikalen Tuskan Gefühl. Antonella und das gesamte Borgo Personal arbeiteten mit uns zusammen, um unser Hochzeitsende perfekt zu machen. Im letzten Moment mussten wir die Abendessensoren wegen Regen ändern, und das Personal war schnell, um alle Tische in der Innenstadt zu ändern. Ich hatte Gäste zu mir kommen und sagen, das war die beste Hochzeit, die sie je hatten. Wir werden zum Borgo für unsere Geburtstagstag zurückkehren!
