I stayed here only because it was close to a friend's house who didn't know any better. Checking in was very easy. The person behind the desk was quick to check me in. Upon entering my room I was overwhelmed by the smell of Pine-Sol. WOW!!!! It did go away after being in the room for a while, but O.M.G. Like other reviews I agree with the fact that some updating needs to be done. There were marks on the door from scratches from either laundry carts or suitcases banging into them. A little paint would have fixed that. When you get into the room, you can tell they've moved furniture around because you can see the marks on the wallpaper from where the bed was originally placed. The bathroom has the same problem with the racks on the wall having been moved and the original marks and holes in the wallpaper. The flooring (tile) in the room has gaps in it. My biggest problem is the doors in the little pass through heading to Room 112. The doors have writing on them that says about keeping the doors closed. Almost every time I would go through those doors to come and go from my room they were open. The one door leads behind the hotel where I'm thinking the housekeeping personnel are going to take the laundry carts. There doesn't seem to be a reason for guests to be back there. When I would go through, I would close the doors behind me. I informed the front desk personnel upon checkout that this has been going on. They didn't seem too upset about this when I reminded them that it is a security risk to have those doors open. I observed front desk people telling people how to make a waffle. Maybe they can go check on those doors and let people fend for themselves when it comes to making a waffle. Somehow those doors have to be closed. It is a definite safety risk. If something happens to someone because of the hotel's lack of safety, they have been put on notice and it won't go well for the hotel. I checked out on Sunday, March 10th. You can ask your morning front desk staff about what I told them about safety. As far as breakfast, it would have been nice to maybe have something besides waffles and yogurt. I know an earlier post said something about eggs, but not in March of 2024. Overall, I went on somebody else's word. Not again for this place.

Yes it’s new, yes it's clean, the employees are sweet but…… No Coffee! Sorry guys, but not having your permit to serve or even give the little coffee packets out to make in your room is not ok. They give you a pot but then you have to go to the grocery store and buy filers and grounds. So $15 later you can have a cup of joe in your room. It would also be nice to have a mirror located outside of the bathroom for multiple people to get dressed at one time. We also had no blow dryer in our room. (The front desk may have had them but luckily we had a travel size with us) One other detail they could attend to is to reverse the fridge door so that it opens towards the kitchen sink and not the entry door. In summary, it’s very basic with no-frills. I did like the rate.
