InterContinental Hotels San Antonio Riverwalk

First time in San Antonio. Wanted to stay by the river walk and this hotel is right in the river walk. You can get to river walk by walking on the backside of hotel. Hotel has full gym, rooftop pool, rooftop bar, nice restaurant with some good tasting dishes, pleasure staff, convenient staff. Hotel is clean and new (fresh) feeling. The 21th floor was quiet. Good location . Recommend if in area.

Great place !! Customer Service excellent! The young lady who bartend at night was the best!! To top it off the hotel driver drop me off at a near by eatery and pick me up . The room is super clean! All the hotel staff were super nice! This place is definitely get a 5-star ⭐️

This hotel is a great value--it's extremely luxurious, but underpriced for a San Antonio luxury hotel--making it an excellent option. Isaac at front desk is world class--lots of really great people there. Bar is sexy and world class--same for restaurant. Covered garage/valet is solid. Rooms are small-ish, but luxurious and smartly finished. Water pressure is mediocre on higher floors as of September 2024--ask for a lower floor room.

I spend 2 weeks a month for past 2 years in hotels- this was the best experience EVER! Beautiful facility! Great food and beverage! Fabulous staff at every level. Nicole in the Deco bar gets a special shout out!! Back again in November and looking forward to the stop!!

The staff was so nice and the food was really good, so I wish I could give it THAT a high score. The room was very mediocre. I wish I could give that a lower score . The best I can compare the bed to is kitchen kitchen counter tops if you were trying to try sleep there.. The bathroom tiles in shower are very old and have mold in grout. Shower heads are probably same age. The valet staff, front desk staff , restaurant staff, the store staff, & especially my room service waiter .. were all incredible and why I went ahead and stayed the 2nd night. They were beyond fantastic.

From the moment you walk in to this newly designed modern InterContinental, you are greeted with such warmth and kindness. The front desk agent that assisted us had such an amazing personality. He immediately acknowledged our IHG status and provided us with a very smooth check in. The bellmen that assisted us was very helpful and very respectful of our luggage. The room itself was very modern and new. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathroom is well appointed and spacious. All rooms come with a fully stocked minibar with all kinds of delicious treats as expected from an intercontinental. The InterContinental club lounge did not disappoint at all. The staff there was super friendly and the selections for both breakfast and happy hour are very good. Inside the Club in particular, the staff are very friendly and some of the best club staff I have ever encountered. The two ladies that served us made sure that everything was clean, food was hot & fresh, and that are drinks were served as soon as our cups were empty. Such amazing food and service in the club. The on-site restaurant is very good. We had dinner there which had a limited but very delicious menu. It was a very good culinary experience. We also had a chance to visit the lobby bar and it did not disappoint. Super friendly staff and excellent drinks. The mixologists can whip up anything, you could ever want. This is a new property so there is no doubt that the service is going to be above and beyond. This is one of the best InterContinentals I’ve ever stayed in. Would highly recommend this hotel.
