Acantilado de La Tierra

We didn’t know much about the island or the resort before we visited. And we don’t speak any Spanish. Alvia and Alex did an excellent job in spite of not not speaking any English - they were very helpful!. It is a very private and small place and the food was good. There is no beach but it is not difficult to get a cart to take yourself to places. But we enjoyed hanging out at the hotel at least as much as the beaches.

The experience with my wife was unforgettable. Since we arrive until the last moment we left the Acantilado de la Tierra, the service was more than perfect. The honey moon with my wife was unforgettable. Me and my wife felt like we were at home. Alex and the whole staff took very good care of us. They did anything to make us feel more than comfortable. It’s a very safe and clean place I recommended it 100%. We hope to come back soon.

15 min away from Centro so I recommend renting a buggy during your stay. The service here is amazing, it feels as if you’re the only person in the resort . They serve breakfast, lunch , snacks, and dinner , and it’s all included . The property has dogs , cats , iguanas, and we even saw crabs roaming the property. I recommend staying here as opposed to the highly congested touristy resorts in the Centro district.

We loved everything about our stay here, the views, the sunsets, the attention, the service. We are vegetarians which can be a bit difficult in Colombia, but all effort was made in order to serve us anything we needed. We were traveling with a one year old baby which gave us an extra VIP treatment because our baby was looked after so well. A special thanks for Elmis who made sure we got everything we needed and so much more, Alex for making the best cocktails (Margaritas!) and Pura and Elbia for cooking and serving us the best for food. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We encountered substantial difficulties with this hotel due to an incorrect address being provided, which resulted in our arrival at a vacant building 4.5km away from the actual location. The hotel's actual location, situated closer to Schooner Bight and inland, proved to be less than ideal. Additionally, we experienced challenges in securing a taxi that could accommodate our early flight schedule. Upon discovering the incorrect location and limited taxi options, we requested a cancellation and were advised by hotel staff to complete a form to facilitate a full refund. However, it was subsequently discovered that the hotel had designated us as a no-show without issuing a refund. Regrettably, the incorrect address and misinformation provided by staff led to a wasted day of our trip. Although we spent 10 days on the island and had positive experiences at other hotels, I would not recommend staying here, I highly suggest exploring alternative accommodations.

During our time on San Andrés island we’ve been based in this quaint oasis. The bungalow apartment was designed generously providing more than enough space. Without exception the whole staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always giving us a smile. Especially the barman Alex showed extraordinary service skills beyond expectations. Additionally, this accommodation offers a variety of delightful alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as delicious food. Using a small mini jeep (approx. 250.000 $) gives you the opportunity to discover the island and relax at any place you like because the resort is located a little bit offsite from the big city (thankfully, the actual city appears to go to rack and ruin). I would definitely recommend this unique location.

The place is simply paradise! Rooms are comfy and very nice, the food is amazing, the pool and its view are simply unforgettable, and the staff is really nice and kind

The property is very beautiful and set in an very picturesque area with great views. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The property is secluded so you require your own transport or taxi/etc to stay there. My only complaint is that there was no running water in the morning due to a fault which lasted a number of hours and meant that I had to use water from a barrell to wash etc in the morning which was unexpected and inconvenient.

Wonderful place. Far away from the City center, but easy to reach by local bus. Surrounded by trees and vegetación. Awesome views. Staff very friendly and supportive. I highly recommend it if you want to escape the hords of touristic. I will definetely come back to the same place!
