Die Krongloria dieses Hotels ist sein Dachpool. Schönes Gebiet mit großer Aussicht auf das Meer. Es hat komfortable Seefische und Handtücher sind zur Verfügung. Personal in der Umgebung sind hilfreich. Ich hatte einen Meerblick mit Balkon. Ein Muss, wenn Sie in diesem Hotel bleiben, weil die Zimmer sind grundsätzlich zu sagen das Mindeste. Papier dünne Wände. Sehr kleine Badezimmer, aber schöne Produkte. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Damen, die sie reinigen, sind freundlich und hart arbeiten. Frühstück können wir außerhalb mit Blick auf den Hafen essen. Rolls, Kuchen, Käse, Fleisch, Getreide und Salat. Der Kaffee ist arm und der 'Saft' schwarz. Der junge Mann, der die Tische löscht, ist effizient und nimmt einen stolzen Job und ist ein Kredit für das Hotel. Ich mag die Katzen und Hunde, die mich zum Frühstück anschließen, nicht, noch die hohe Gruppe von Amerikanern Sie sagte, ich sei Griechisch, aber das ist nicht die Schuld des Hotels.

Das Hotel hat ein Hauptgebäude und ein Village-Bereich. Wir waren im Village-Bereich, was wir gegenüber dem Hauptgebäude empfehlen können. Der Village-Bereich ist wie ein kleines Dorf angelegt, mit Dorfplatz, Kirche, Cafenion, Minisupermarkt etc. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Strandabschnitt (Kiesel-Sand) mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, welche allerdings auch trotz All In kostenpflichtig sind. (7 €/Tag oder 35 €/Wochenkarte). Die Auflagen der Liegen sind auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Transferminuten vom Flughafen entfernt und es ist deshalb mit Fluglärm zu rechnen, was allerdings aufgrund der Corona-Situation erträglich war. (8-10 Flieger am Tag in unserem Reisezeitraum Ende September) Nach Pythagorion kann man zu Fuß in ca 10 Minuten laufen. Von Pythagorion aus kann man mit dem Bus in andere Städte fahren. Auch mit dem Mietwagen kann man die Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erkunden. Wir hatten ursprünglich ein Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick gebucht und bekamen vom Hotel ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer im Village-Bereich direkt am Strand, was echt toll war. Das Zimmer war mit einem großen Schrank und ausreichend Kleiderbügeln ausgestattet. Ein Safe war ebenfalls vorhanden. Was wir vermisst haben, waren Schubfächer für die kleinen Dinge sowie einen Wäschetrockner, für die Badetücher und Badesachen auf der Terasse. Das Badezimmer war mit Dusche in einer Badewanne. Wer jedoch bewegungseingeschränkt ist, hat Probleme in die Wanne/Dusche zu kommen, da der Einstieg sehr hoch und breit wahr. Der Flachbildschirm hatte nur wenig deutsche Programme. Das WLAN im Hotel und Zimmer war von guter Qualität. Zunächst möchten wir ein ganz großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte aussprechen. Unser Zimmer war immer tip-top-sauber, incl. täglichen Handtuchwechsel und liebevoll gefalteten Handtüchern. Das Personal spricht überwiegend englisch. Im Frühstücks- und Abendrestaurant wirkte das Personal etwas gestresst oder überfordert. Tische im Außenbereich wurden erst abgeräumt und gesäubert, wenn die nächsten Gäste mit ihren gefüllten Tellern schon davor standen. Es fehlten häufig Teller und morgens die Kaffeetassen oder Kaffeelöffel. Die Gäste behalfen sich zwischenzeitlich mit den Saftgläsern oder Kompottschälchen für ihren Kaffee. Dies kam nicht nur einmal vor während unseres Aufenthaltes. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ein no go, finden wir. Am Abreisetag baten wir um Verlängerung des Zimmers bis 15.00 Uhr (normal Check-out 12.00 Uhr), was uns für 40 € auch ermöglicht wurde. Es gab ein Frühstücks- und Abendessenrestaurant in welchen jeweils ein Buffet angeboten wurde. Die Auswahl war groß, für jeden etwas dabei. Das Hygienekonzept, Selbstbedienung mit Maske und Einmalhandschuhe hat gut funktioniert. Beim abendlichen Buffet hätten wir uns jedoch mehr griechische Gerichte gewünscht. Stayed for 7 night in early September 2023 - first impression of the place was absolutely amazing. Visually, one of the more beautiful hotels I've seen. Before I delve into a deeper review, I'd like to give a special shout out to the entire hotel staff, from reception, to waiters, to housekeeping and even Vincent with his delicious coffee in the morning - without whom this hotel wouldn't be as special without. A very special thank you to Eva (we miss you!) and Matthew at the restaurant in the evenings, Dimitry at the bar and Costa at the reception - your kindness and smiles truly made our stay special. Personal tip - don't rely on the hotel's 'Guest Relations' rep for recommendations on where to go and where to eat - we had some very unpleasant experiences from some of her recommendations. Talk to Eva or Dimitry, or even the local cab drivers, for the best recommendations. The Rooms: We took a room with a swim-up. The room itself is gorgeous, and the direct access to the pool made it the best possible room. If you book this room, make sure to ask for Rooms that have sun throughout the whole day (like rooms 707 and 706) - we got 708 and only got direct sun from 14:00 until 18:00 (which falls 'lunchtime') - which was a bit disappointing considering we moved rooms due to this very issue with our first room (908). The Food: Breakfast buffet was nice, a lot of choices and fresh eggs/omelettes made to order. Though the fact that there wasn't fresh orange juice was a bit disappointing - it IS a 5 star hotel after all. Also why no toaster? That was very strange. Cereal choices were also very limited. Lunch and Dinner menus were excellent and delicious. However, two big drawbacks regarding both menus; Both menus were a bit expensive. If you're having drinks and a meal each, the bill can easily get to 60-70 euros (and when you eat lunch and dinner day after day, it adds up quite fast), and that's without anything 'fancy'. A second drawback was the lack of choices. We came to Casa Cook Samos due to our amazing experience at Casa Cook Rhodes - where you had a different menu for every day of the week! At Samos, you unfortunately have a very limited menu that doesn't change - so if you're going for longer than 3-4 days, things get old very very fast. And especially since there's only one decent restaurant (Unan) within walking distance from the hotel - otherwise you need to visit Pythagorio. Again - the food was top notch, their Risotto was one of the best I've had in my life - but such a shame it wasn't priced more fairly and had more options. My recommendation - for great food, go to Pythagorio or even Samos City and have some great local food for a fraction of the prices. Unan (not far from the hotel), Pergamonto and Onion Grill are a few of the great places we ate - all with excellent food and service. DO NOT go to Pnoe Restaurant - very low quality food. The Location The hotel isn't very far from the main city Pythagorio - either a
