Das Hotel liegt etwas zurück versetzt von der Hauptstraße. Daher ist es sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sauber. Das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und jeden Tag gibt es andere selbst gebackene Kuchen oder süße Kleinigkeiten. Besonders ist die familiäre Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich gleich integriert. In der Umgebung sind fußläufig viele Restaurants zu erreichen.

Wir waren 3 Wochen im Sept. 21 im Hotel Sofia auf Samos. Auch schon zum 3. Mal und wir planen schon wieder für das nächste Jahr. Um Irrtümern vorzubeugen: Sofia ist ein 2-Sterne Hotel mit einfachen Zimmern und Ausstattung, aber alles sauber, gepflegt und ausreichend. (Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden ständig gewechselt) Die Bilder auf der Homepage vom Hotel, Zimmer, Pool und Poolbar sind wirklich so. Für uns der perfekte Griechenland-Urlaub mit Frühstück im Garten und immer einem freundlichen Wort von Nova! Die Poollandschaft, der nahe Strand, die vielen Tavernen am Meer (bei Angelos gab es Liegen am Strand (kostenlos) und in der Taverne Mythos vom Fass), die Insel Samos und die Familie Lotos- wir können uns den vielen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Samos hat mit Bergen, Buchten und typischen Orten hat einen besonderen Charme und auch nach mehrmaligem Besuch immer neue interessante Eindrücke. Wir können das Hotel Sofia nur empfehlen und würden gerne noch einmal kommen. Hilde und Götz

Wir lieben das einfache Hotel mit den besten Gastgebern, die man sich wünschen und vorstellen kann. Bereits mehrfach haben wir unseren Urlaub bei Nova, Vasilis und Manolis verbracht und der nächste Besucht ist bereits wieder in Planung.

I had a wonderful, relaxing 2 wk holiday at the Sofia Hotel, after spending two weeks in Italy . I was picked up from the airport by a staff member , and enjoyed the wonderful scenic journey to the other side of the island . Our rooms were clean and very quiet . Breakfast is included in the tariff and was amazing with its variety . All staff were so friendly . Vasilis, Nova. Manoli, Stavro, and Yianni and Sofia went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, and relaxed . Kampos the village has many excellent restaurants , within easy walking distance . The beach opposite the hotel is about 2 km long with heaps of space to relax for the day . The hotel has a large pool with plenty of sun beds . I hope to return in a few years , to stay at this wonderful family run hotel .Greek hospitality at its finest .

My friend and I discovered this beautiful gem of a place 6 years ago as a last minute booking and we have been coming back ever since. A family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful staff and a real feeling of 'belonging'. Go here and you will fall in love with it. Thank you as always to all of you for another perfect holiday.

Thank you Vasilis, Nova, Manoli, Georgina, and the whole team at Hotel Sofia. We came back with a group of 28 to celebrate our wedding, as our previous memories had been so special. We all had a such fantastic time that before we left there was talk of a reunion!! You can’t fault the hospitality, the friendliness, cleanliness, food and quality that the family and team put in to Hotel Sofia. Thank you sooo much for making our memories of our wedding so special, see you soon my friends (not tourists) x

Such a gem! It's a family run facility and their kindness and attention to clients and the hotel is outstanding! Vasilis, Nova, Sofía and their crew are just the most wonderful people! The rooms have balconies, or easy access to the pool, or quiet little porches. The pool is fantastic, clean and surrounded by wonderful trees and plants, (Vasilis takes care of them personally) there's an outdoor oven and chez longues, tables where you can have lunch and a cold beer, and even a pool table by the bar under the gorgeous pagoda. The environment is so pleasing and gorgeous, that we fell in love with this incredible place from the very first moment! It's an oasis on a magical island. There are clients that have been coming here for decades, and that unbeatable publicity. Often times the family organizes barbecues with their guests, and grilling is a Greek national sport Vasilis mastered quite well.

Great holiday - This hotel was recommended and it did not disappoint hotel very friendly atmosphere. breakfast was excellent rooms lovely and clean great pool bar good and staff absolutely lovely. Met some great people. Definitely go back!
