Wonderful Little Find. It's a must if you stay in samoens. Great location. Food is absolutely superb, almost Michelin quality. We have a Superior room which is comfortable with a large balcony and fantastic size bathroom. We would definitely book here again. It's a little gem!! Family run and staff are so lovely

A great hôtel that is very cosy, excellent, friendly staff and impeccable clean throughout. The restaurant and it's chef / staff are again excellent, 5 stars, my only complaint was that the chef seasoned The Menu Enfants as he would for adults, way too much black pepper and salt, such a shame! The swimming pool and Spa are again excellent, spotlessly clean and easy to use. As a father of young children I was à little concerned with the water slide and it's design when you leave it and enter the water! Our bedroom was very confortable, beds were lovely, but às a whole a little dated, plenty of space and storage, à little let down by à poor hand shower that's more in keeping with a 2 star hôtel , we found it was more enjoyable to shower in the spa complex. The hôtel has à free ski bus stop opposite and the beautiful town is easily walkable in 5minutes. Samoens has great restaurants and bars with a very friendly atmosphère. Three points which slightly annoyed us were that the hôtel chargé with à coin slot for the use of the baby foot for the children in the hôtels games room and also the snooker table in the lounge, Why! There was also à ' Do Not ( interdit ) make sandwiches or take food' note placed on the notice board. I find this à little offensif when you stay in a quality establishment. We had young children who woke early to head up to ski school, they were not hungry at 7.30 am but could eat à horse at 9am, of course we took food at breakfast so they could eat it later! It's stated ' High speed Wifi'? We would not hesitate in recomending this hôtel *****

The hotel is charming I guess, although very tired and in need of a serious technical update. The room was very clean but not very practical - no usb socket anywhere and sockets miles away from bed so cannot charge phones etc. No decent toiletry provided, no breakfast available unless this is confirmed at €18 per person the day before and need to confirm timing and all…… if getting back late in the evening there is no reception and a side door needs to be used, which is ok but there is not one light in the whole place to indicate where the door is! There is very little interest it seems in making this hotel the little gem it could be.

Just come back from a weeks stay ski holiday at the end of the season. We stayed in the annex at the rear of hotel and was very impressed with room. Although we ate out each evening and booked on a B&B basis, the kitchen area was equipped with everything needed if you wished to stay in, electric hob,dish washer & fridge freezer. You can use all hotel facilities with an excellent spa area with jacuzzi and sauna as well as indoor and outdoor pool. The bar area was very relaxing to sit at night. Breakfast was good with plenty choice both hot and cold. We ate in restaurant one evening which was very good with a good choice and evening special. Will definitely be back.
