Résidence Alexane

What a treat of a place to stay. I think we timed it just right after the summer opening but just a wonderful relaxed experience. The hotel room was very large, being suites they offer a separate seating area, two tv's and luxury amenities. There was a great spa onsite with robes and towels provided from the room. The pool was just wonderful at the end of a day of hiking. Breakfast was not so good if I'm honest so we cancelled after the first day and we never ate in the restaurant as we prefer to eat in the surrounding dining options in town. Plenty of clean, safe underground parking too.

We actually stayed in the chalets/apartments but most facilities are shared with the hotel - and they are superb. All the staff working on reception are lovely and so helpful. The apartment itself ( a 3 bed) was great, lots of space, one with en suite shower room, one family bathroom and an additional toilet. The beds & bedding were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of space in the kitchen/diner/living room. The swimming pool, hot tub, sauna & shower area were fantastic. The gym is good as well. There is a games room with a ball pit for younger children plus table football and a pool table. You can also book to use a private cinema (15 seats, no charge) to view Netflix or your own streaming accounts. We did it twice & really enjoyed it. Additionally the bar area is nice and there is live music on Wednesday evenings. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but did use the corner bistro having drinks & sharing platters and would recommend that too.

We have just had a lovely stay at Residence Alexane. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped and all the facilities make a week here skiing very easy and enjoyable. The lockers are so handy, combined with the shuttle bus service, you really can't ask for things to be much more convenient. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The pool and wellbeing area is super, and very welcome at the end of the day! The bar area and cafe had music on a couple of evenings, and it's a cosy spot. Samoens itself is a treat, there is a lot on and the hotel are happy to advise on what is happening. Local amenities mean you can self cater easily or there are many lovely places to eat in town. The Wednesday Market is just outside the hotel and is great for stocking up on local treats and basics. For eating on the hill, La Luge a Teran on the Dahu run is fabulous but booking is a good plan. Nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans les suites d'Alexane, un hotel merveilleux, avec des chambres spacieuses et des lits très confortables. L'hotel dispose d'une grande piscine, d'un spa et centre de bien être. Parking privé en sous sol. Par contre je ne recommande pas le petit déjeuner à 21 euros, viennoiseries industrielles.

Nous avons logé dans une chambre confortable, spacieuse, chaleureuse, très propre avec des finitions de qualité. Hôtel très calme dans un cadre idyllique. Personnel attentionné et de bons conseils. Praticité du parking à disposition. Chambre de plus haut standing que les hôtels 5 étoiles que nous avons pu côtoyer. Rien à redire sauf peut-être sur le petit déjeuner qui mériterait de bons produits locaux.

Globalement, le séjour est extraordinaire, avec des prestations et un accueil qui mériterait une étoile de plus. Dans le détail : Lors d'un séminaire, nous avons pris 4 chambres du mercredi au dimanche, hors vacances scolaires. - L'accueil et la réception sont parfaits ! Toute l'équipe est sympathique, avenante et très professionnelle. Juliette et son équipe nous ont réservé 4 bonnes tables. On a ressenti une bonne entente et beaucoup de bienveillance au sein de l'équipe. - Les chambres sont superbes, très spacieuses, avec un grand balcon très agréable. - La salle de bain possède une grande douche 2 places ET une baignoire. Le sèche-cheveux pourrait être plus puissant. - Globalement les espaces sont grands (sauf bar, un peu plus modeste), la décoration est soignée. Avec un équilibre entre chaleur (bois, tissus) et modernité (verre, pierre). L'ensemble est toujours très chaleureux et invite à se poser ici et là. Parfois un peu sombre mais c'est le style voulu. - La salle de jeu est bonne, nous avons profité du billard. - L'espace piscine / sauna / hammam est exceptionnel : très grand, propre et bien équipé ! La piscine en inox est très belle et suffisamment grande pour nager ! Grand sauna, grand hammam, bain nordique à 9° - Le local à ski est incroyable et mérite son propre paragraphe : les casiers sont énormes avec porte-skis, porte-casque, porte-chaussure chauffés. Aucune mauvaise odeur. Beaucoup de places. Le meilleur local à ski que nous ayons eu. - Le spa est également au niveau du reste : excellents soins, une équipe accommodante (je suis venu avec une épaule luxée, elles auraient pu me refuser) et on prend le temps : vous n'êtes pas expédiés après le soin, vous profitez d'un salon agréable avec une tisane ou autre, pour aller au bout de votre relaxation - Je passe sur les petits plus agréables : la navette de l'hôtel pour rejoindre le téléphérique, un barman souriant, une équipe toujours pleine de bons conseils. Si nous avons l'occasion, nous reviendrons. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !
