Jahongir Premium

There are different “Jahongir” hotel facilities in Samarkand and sometimes reviews mix them up. I tried Jahongir Guest House and Jahongir Premium (this one). Both are located in the same road, in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the Registan (less than 10 minutes walking) and to the main attractions. In both, rooms are clean and large but the Guest House is a little bit aged, a refresh is needed. Both have an internal garden where to relax, the one of Jahongir Premium is more well-finished. The breakfast offers local food with few sweet options. Wifi worked perfectly. Service needs to be improved … they forgot to send the taxi to pick us up at the airport. Both have affordable prices. All in all, Jahongir Premium looks more modern and confortable than the Guest House but services are the same.

Hotel is a bit hidden but inside is very nice. The rooms are spacious with little fridge, comfy chairs and little table. In our room we have a sofa as well. The beds are comfy, in the bathrooms towels are great and there are toiletries. Every days there are fresh bottled water. There is a little kettle and selection of tea bags. There is a safe in place as well. The breakfast is more then efficient, large selection of savoury and sweet foods, tea, coffee, juices, yogurts etc. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We were waiting for our transport and they let us to have one room a bit longer. Big thank you.

The atmosphere in this hotel is great.You can feel authenticity of Samarkand. The rooms are clean, comfortable and fulfilled with all the things needed. As for the breakfast, I rate as 10/10. Moreover, the most important thing of this hotel is the location which is so close to Registan. Finally, want to give an appreciation to the staff, that are very polite and helps you with all questions you have.

The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need from body wash to a hair dryer. There is even an iron to use which is sometimes hard to come by. The breakfast is perfect including bread, cheese and coffee and most importantly, the beds are super comfortable after a day of exploring Samarkand! The courtyard is beautiful and it was nice to eat our dinner here. Would fully recommend this family run hotel!

Jahongir Premium is new and lovely. The room was spacious but cosy and well decorated. cofee and tea sachets were provided. There was a wide variety buffet breakfast spread which we enjoyed. The hotel was walking distance to most of the sights and restaurants. Staff was approachable. They were able to provide transfers at a reasonable rate. Only thing was that the heater Aircon was not fixed yet in our room so we had to just rely on just the radiator. We then asked for extra blankets in case it got cold as it was snowing outside but the staff was unable to provide them. Thankfully the heat from the radiator was ok. Since the hotel was quite new, this could be 1 of the teething issues that needs to be addressed. Other than that, everything was lovely.

Voici votre expérience : --- Mon séjour à l'hôtel Jahongir Premium a été une véritable catastrophe. Dès mon arrivée, j'ai été confronté à un personnel incroyablement impoli. Ils semblaient toujours agacés par mes demandes et ne faisaient aucun effort pour être serviables. Le point culminant de cette expérience désastreuse a été ma rencontre avec le manager. Il était totalement incompétent en matière de communication. Non seulement il manquait cruellement de politesse, mais il n'avait aucune idée de comment gérer les plaintes des clients. Aucune de mes préoccupations n'a été prise au sérieux, et son attitude condescendante et dédaigneuse a rendu la situation encore pire. En bref, je déconseille fortement l'hôtel Jahongir Premium à quiconque souhaite avoir une expérience agréable et sans stress. C'était un cauchemar du début à la fin, et je regrette profondément d'avoir choisi cet hôtel pour mon séjour.
