We spent 3 wonderful nights in this apartment in the pedestrianised street of Salzburg. The building is more than 600 years old, no lift, and we could see the old and new features as we walked up to our flat on the 4th floor. Our flat was renovated with the usual modern amenities, a shower room and a view down to the old town. Wifi works well. We had breakfasts in the cafes just down the street on the left hand corner. The coffee and pastries were excellent. We took the tram (tips: buy the Day Pass for EUR 4.70 from the ticket machine and save the troubles for getting multiple tickets) and find it so convenient. The time table and schedule are clearly displayed on the screen. There is a taxi stand on the left side as we walked out of the pedestrianised lane. Mozart’s birthplace is to the right, the prominent yellow building. Overall we have a fun time and would recommend this place.
