O Aquarena Hotel é um hotel numa zona bem movimentada, fica de frente para uma avenida e por isso o barulho dos carros pode ser um incômodo. o check in foi demorado e confuso, já havia realizado o pagamento de 50% e mesmo assim fui cobrado novamente, sendo necessário reenviar o comprovante para sanar essa pendenga que deveria estar num sistema do hotel. Ainda, alguns quartos não tem frigobar, mas o hotel vende água e refrigerante na recepção, o detalhe fica para o pagamento, tem que ser imediatamente não sendo possível colocar na conta do quarto, ou você tem como pagar imediatamente ou não leva. A chegada ao hotel é fácil, fica perto da Fonte Nova, o gps não teve problemas para encontrar. O quarto é bem pequeno, o banheiro idem, uma pessoa maior passaria bastante aperto. O café da manhã é bem modesto, o ponto forte fica por conta da tapioca feita na hora. No mais, o hotel possui um bom custo benefício mas não é um dos melhores.

No momento da Reserva não me atentei ao fato que o quarto selecionado estava sem café da manhã incluso, visto que estava pesquisando em vários lugares ao mesmo tempo, e na pressa não revisei. Ao chegar no hotel e somente após pagar minha estadia, fui informado que teria que pagar o adicional do café da manhã (70/casal/dia). Na hora pesquisei no APP e vi que uma reserva para o mesmo período estava custando exatamente o mesmo preço que eu havia pago, mas com café da manhã incluso e perguntei ao funcionário se poderia cancelar a reserva e faze-la novamente no app para pegar o café incluso, mas isso me foi negado por um motivo muito ridículo e que eu teria que resolver com a plataforma Booking (no meio de um fds onde nada se resolve). No dia seguinte questionei outro funcionário que deu uma justificativa mais sem nexo ainda e que eu poderia perder meu dinheiro e ter que pagar por toda a reserva. Resumindo, não me ofereceram uma solução razoável para o caso, não se prontificaram a colocar um gerente ou alguém para analisar o caso, a plataforma Booking tbm não me deu resposta até hoje e eu acabei tomando café numa padaria próxima ao hotel durante 3 das 4 diárias que estivemos aí. Eu não estava pedindo nada além do que a aplicação do preço que vi no app com café para o mesmo período pois se tivéssemos que incluir 70/dia no orçamento, teríamos outras opções de hotel. O que salvou nossa experiencia nessas ferias foi que havíamos planejado ficar em duas estadias diferentes e a segunda foi ótima.

Sehr gut Hotel, gut gelegen, sicher, Zimmer mit guter Größe, Frühstück ok. Ich würde sicher zurückkommen.

Schön, sauber und freundlich - Liebe diesen Ort und wird zurückkehren. Das Personal und die Grundstücke sind atemberaubend. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Einrichtungen sind außergewöhnlich! Die Küche war gut (nicht groß), aber die Restaurants waren sehr sauber und mit freundlichen Leuten ausgestattet.

Ich war in diesem kleinen Hotel sehr oft Gastgeber, ich glaube, um ein 3-Sterne-Sterne ist guter Qualität. Die Meerblickzimmer, einige mit Balkon sind lecker, dank der Sicht. Das Badezimmer ist geräumig. Sein bestes Ding ist Frühstück und Tee abends, ein Gastronomiepause am Nachmittag mit Süßen und Salat-Optionen. Die Lage ist eine der besten von Salvador, eine Nachbarschaft vor dem Meer, aber hinter den reichen Restaurants, Bars, Museen, alte Palasts und vieles zu sehen. Sorry, dass der Strand vor dem Meer nicht bannen kann. In wenigen Minuten mit dem Bus oder Taxi können Sie an den Strand do flamengo, einer der besten in der Stadt, erreichen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer Viertel voller Restaurants und Bars, d.h., wird nicht fehlen, was man nachts tun kann. Es geht zum Strand des Buracán zu Fuß - eine halb versteckte Strand, gut für diejenigen, die nicht am Ende der gemütlichen Orte. Ich empfehle diesen Strand jedoch nicht für Kinder oder für diejenigen, die gerne im Wasser bleiben: Die Wellen sind ziemlich stark! Ich war nur sehr unerfreut, dass ich das Hotel wieder ins Hotel gelangte, dass ich mich in der Nacht übernachtet, sehr müde, sauer und 15, 20 Minuten wartete, um den Schlüssel zu meinem Zimmer zu haben. Die Beamten sagten, dass die Online-Check-in nicht funktioniert!!! Darüber hinaus, geräumiges Zimmer, gutes Meerblick, sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant. Es gibt ein Tourismusunternehmen, das einen ”Stand” im Hotel und organisiert Touren.

For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as ”an apartment” when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%

The Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. Auf meiner Reise nach Salvador war ich bei ihm, als ich ankam und einen Tag vor meiner Rückkehr. (Tag 03/02 und Tag 08/02) Das Zimmer, das uns in der ersten Unterkunft gestellt hat, war gut, das Bett war komfortabel, das Badezimmer war gut, nur hatte er eine Bedrohung für eine Person und wir waren ein Paar. Das Zimmer, das uns in unserem zweiten Aufenthalt gesetzt hat, war schlimm, das Bett war extrem weich, das Bad war durch Wasser aus dem Duschbox überschwemmt, die verfügbare Ausstattung war nur ein Shampoo. Der Frühstücks Kaffee ist sehr vernünftig, alles sehr einfach und wenige Optionen. Das Wasser in der Schale ist von der Schnee und hat einen sehr starken Chlorgeschmack. Die Rezeption-Personal sind nicht der empfänglichsten. Nur eine Frau, die mich nicht an den Namen erinnern, hat mich über das Abendessen, das sie serviert haben, in Frage gestellt und wurde gut ausgebildet, denn der Mann, der mich ansprach, war nur wenig auf mich zugehört.
