"Decent place to stay in Salem. Rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. Overall maintenance could be better. Kettles in the room were damaged, towels were old and smelly. Restaurant offers a decent buffet breakfast and dinner. Rooms can get noisy if there is an event happening downstairs. Definitely needs improvement. "

"I visited Ishank in Yercaud, TN for a couple of days in October 2025. This is one of those hidden gems of India that one must visit, especially for those who love hill stations. Yercaud is gorgeous, my stay at the Ishank resort was absolutely splendid. I stayed at the SamSuite which was well furnished and had all modern amenities. The staff was attentive and ensured that I was able to make the most of my stay there. The property is extremely beautiful and the serene hill station setting of Yercaud makes it even more enthralling. Since the hill station is far from the city, the staff at Ishank resort ensured that they are well equipped with a restaurant and even had the essential first aid kits available. I was amazed how easily they were able to cater to delicious meals and even snacks. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle bustle of the city to a serene and charming atmosphere, the Ishank resort at Yercaud should be on your bucket list. I will definitely go back there again soon!"

"The resort is located in a good and easy accessibility location. The rooms are well maintained.The swimming pool is well maintained however indoor games needs more care and improvements. The resort has a pure vegetarian restaurant which servers good food. The resort provides a very good nature experience. As soon as you wakeup you will hear the voice of many birds which is a very soothing experience. The attraction of the resort is their exclusive complementary nature walk. This is a guided walk. We were assisted by Mr. Radhakrishnan who was knowledgeable and provided all relavemt information.During the walk we were lucky to spot 3 bisons too. Morning walk between 7 to 9 for about 2.5 KM is avery good start for the day. Overall I highly recommend this resort."

"A very good stay option and pet friendly too. Staff is super hospitable. Location is just few KM from the city center. The views of the valley bellow from the property are to die for. We arrived on the weekend and there was a large group (30-40 family members with children) and they were a noisy bunch. Thankfully they left by evening. If there is an area for improvement, i would request management to keep a tab on the noise levels in the property. Avoid the Karaoke late into the night. Be mindful that guests chose these stays for quite and peace time away from hustle and bustle of the city. Overall it was a good experience."
