Saldanha Bay Hotel

I’m honestly heartbroken and appalled by the state of this place. What was meant to be a peaceful and restful stay turned into a horrifying experience that left me feeling deeply upset and uncomfortable. The lounge carpets were so dirty and stained, I felt uneasy even walking barefoot. It was impossible to relax in such unhygienic conditions. The bedding was old, worn-out, and broken — there was no sense of comfort or care. The towels were equally disappointing — used, stained, and far from clean. It felt like we were using leftovers from a place that had long stopped caring about its guests. The breakfast area was a disaster. Tables were untidy, floors not cleaned, and the hot buffet area was simply revolting. Food was left exposed with no clear hygiene in place — it was honestly stomach-turning. This experience left me feeling completely let down. I had hoped for rest and peace, but instead left with stress, frustration, and a strong desire to warn others. No one deserves to be treated this way. Hospitality should feel warm and welcoming — this felt careless and cold.

This is a fantastic hotel. The Manager - Lucion is excellent. Two things that they can improve on is the laundry, which is unfortunately non existing and the Room Service. The rest is highly recommended. It was a most pleasurable stay and was enjoyed.

Lovely comfortable space with a door to the outside overlooking the beautiful bay. The Mussel Cracker restaurant served a delicious meal. All the staff were lovely and extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel.

This is a nice hotel for a weekend stay around Saldanha Bay, and the Sea View Suites are spacious with a fabulous view. Breakfast is average at best, and the swimming pool definitely needs more attention. Staff are all very friendly. Good value for money.

Awesome getaway! Relaxing. Good good and ambience. Staff is attentive and kind. Rooms are clean and neat. Views are amazing. On a Saturday they have a one man band who is awesome . Should there be a soccer or rugby game on, they either screen in the bar area or in a sub hall at the bottom of the property. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive and fresh. A good way to start the day!

Booked two nights here with the family. Check it was efficient and quick. After getting to the room i decided to park underground as the only other option was upstairs outside the hotel which wasn't to my liking. Just be aware the underground parking is small and limited to about 5 cars.. when i mean small.. its very awkward to park and get out of you don't reverse park The room is very very sparce and basic as per pics . and no view so to speak of.. tiny TV far from the beds. Definitely needs refurbishment and upgrading. The kids went to play putt putt , you have to leave a deposit in order to hire clubs and balls.. never seen this is a hotel before.. even when we went to the so called games room the sign read that in order to play table tennis you again have to leave deposit at reception. Really??? The putt putt is in such a bad rundown state that it putts you off playing!! No real facilities on site. Breakfast was chaotic with things running out and not being replenished croissant pancakes etc We didn't eat at hotel but preferred to drive to langebaan as there were a lot more options wife said dont book here again.. i agree
