I'll start with the slight positives... The location is great, you can ski straight out the door from one side of the hotel, although if you're the other side, you have to take a lift down to reception and then another lift down to the other ski locker to get to the slopes, but easy to get in and out with your ski's. Few restaurants and bars up the road but only about a 10min walk using the public walkway to get to the main areas with all the bars and restaurants. Supermarket down the road and a bakery up the road as well. The rooms are ok, we had 3 people in one of the small rooms, and it was very small, but did a job. 2 single beds and a sofa bed that pulls out meant there wasn't much room to walk around, but we weren't planning on being in the room much so it was fine for what we needed. Kitchen had plenty of equipment and the radiators make the room very warm when returning from the slopes. Shower was also good quality. The safe in our room didn't work though which was a shame. Cleanliness was average, we found a cigarette in the wardrobe when we arrived, but the rest of the apartment was ok. The hallways weren't great either, pots of paint on the stairs. Now to the big negative of our experience... We arrived fairly late at around 10pm, and when we found our room, the door was wide open, and we quickly realised that the door didn't actually shut. We wanted to head out to get some food after a long day travelling but weren't comfortable leaving all our stuff in a room without a door, so immediately let reception know. The guy on reception was actually really nice, he realised what a big issue it was, he was very apologetic and tried to come fix it himself but was unable to. He phoned around to his managers and other hotels to see if there was anything that could be done but ended up saying there wasn't anything that could be done, no spare rooms, no technician on site to fix it. This obviously is pretty poor to have a hotel room that doesn't have a door that can close from the outside. He let us leave our bags behind the reception desk so we could go out and get some food, and promised us that a technician would be with us at 8am the next morning to fix the door. The door locked from the inside so as long as one of us stayed in we were able to close it, but it obviously meant we weren't all able to go out together until it was fixed which isn't ideal on a group holiday! The receptionist said to us that we should speak with the manager when she was next in who may be able to offer some compensation for the inconvenience. The morning arrives and we're waiting until about 9am and still nobody turned up, so we went to reception again to see what was happening. The woman on reception was oblivious to the issue, and didn't really seem to care too much either which frustrated us even more, as this was now taking away from our time on the slopes. Eventually at about 10am someone came to unstick the door handle, but this obviously delayed us get
