Absolutely fantastic 2-night stay at Armancette Hotel in Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce! One of the best hotels in France and service wise one of the best hotels we stayed at ever Pros: -Service was phenomenal - from the very moment we arrived to the minute we left, we were felt extremely grateful to the staff for such warm and friendly service. Extremely attentive and professional - small gift for our baby, help parking car and luggage, advice and help with bookings, always friendly. -Spa: well sized spa - swimming pool with breathtaking views of mountains, fresh mountain air and green valleys. The swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi’s and relaxation area were great -Rooms and facilities: keeping within wooden classic style on the outside, on the inside extremely well furnished, modern and sleek. Rooms are spacious, meticulously furnished and a terrace with a view of the mountains -Food: fresh bakery on the ground floor , breakfast was delicious. Staff are very well trained, attentive, service was spot on. Delicious French toast ! Cons: -none really (one minor point, gap between mattress on bed, prefer large king bed mattress instead)

My husband and I spent the weekend at L’Armancette. We loved every moment of our time at this beautiful hotel and with the lovely staff. The intent to delight is evident in small and large details alike ranging from giving all rooms balconies to the gorgeous pool to the eager-to-care-for-you attitude of each staff member to the exquisite cuisine. It is the perfect mixture of heartfelt warmth and luxury. We highly recommend L’Armancette for your next getaway!

The hotel is really cosy with comfortable beds, rooms with nice space and beautiful design/decoration. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The restaurants (both) have very nice atmosphere and the food is very delicious. Breakfast is also delicious, fresh and good quality of ingredients. This is really unique small luxury hotel in a beautiful region.

We were on a 12 day vacation in the French Alps and had a very special 4 days at the Armancette . Everything from the front desk staff, the meals (at both restaurants), the SPA, the gym, the concierge/shuttle, and the cleaning staff, were all exceptional. We felt very "known" by all we interacted with. What a lovely property and experience!

You may be weighing up other luxury resorts in the area, and considering your options. We have stayed in so many hotels in this area, and return to the Armancette whenever we are in this part of France, over and above all others now. You will struggle to find any hotel that can match the authenticity, attention to detail and genuine hospitality that is offered here in abundance. Hand crafted, pine scented rooms that exude luxury, decadence and comfort that are nestled in a village that has a soul and a heart. We actually feel 'part of the village' rather than just passing tourists, and part of their family - the warmth goes way beyond five star service and care. The most magnificent views, the nature and serenity all around and the gorgeous swimming pool and spa area combines to create a really special stay. We enjoyed the many sporting activities available in the area, it was so fun for our teens for our summer stay (we love the winter stays here too) Maurizo and team really took such good care of us, everyone did. We enjoyed the candlelit dinner in the restaurants, and a morning swim with the birds. It is a place of well being and recuperation, and I can thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are looking for eleven hours of uninterrupted sleep in the mountain air, wonderful walks in the surrounding trails and forests, great massages and some time to sit in the sunshine and just be. Time literally stops here, and the hospitality really is second to none. We are busy discussing a winter stay now, as we love the place at Christmas. Such a magical spot on earth and one we really look forward to returning to. Thank you for a wonderful stay to the GM Damian and all of his team.

Wow, what a weekend, we loved the Armancette! We were looking for a ski solution not too far away from Geneva as we live on London and we’re super happy with our choice. The hotel is beautiful, clearly new and built with a great style, a combination of “traditional mountain” and “elegant modern”. We were in a comfortable family room on the second floor and it was perfect for us as we are a family of four. Service is impeccable, they helped us get to and back from the ski slopes every day, find rental equipment, restaurants….. Great breakfast in the morning and you can’t miss dinner at their Gourmet restaurant (same location) which is also 5 stars like the whole Armancette experience. Good gym, we couldn’t try the SPA as it was fully booked. Thanks to the whole team for an amazing weekend, we’ll be back!!

We were delighted with our 2 night stay at the Armancette. I went with my family of four, kids aged 12 and 15. The Duplex Quad room was perfect. The kids were thrilled to have their own twin beds rather than sharing a bed. The appointments and service throughtout the hotel were thoughtful and excellent. Our highlight though were the views from our balcony of Mont Blanc — just incredible. I wish we had more time to explore Saint Gervais sea Bains. Seems like much to do there. We took a 40 min taxi to Chamonix and spent an awe inspiring day going to Aiguille du Midi, a must do.

Wow, wow, wow. What an exceptional hotel. Words fail me. Every single thing about it is perfect--friendly, engaging, on-point customer service and amazing staff, the spa is gorgeous, the facilities are spotless, the chalets are gorgeous. Quiet, peaceful. Some of the best food I have truly ever eaten. My family and I plan on coming back. I cannot recommend this place more. It really is a 6 star hotel. 5 stars does not do it justice!

We travel a lot, and we are very used to amazing service, but this hotel goes to to the next level. Not just one or two members of staff, but each and every one of them was just outstanding. The Manager clearly runs an extremely tight ship, and everyone is extremely well trained and professional, with a dash of charm and well timed humour - perfection. I have no idea how they managed to find such wonderful people, but you can be sure you will be very well cared for here. The rooms are quite small, but they are exquisite, spotlessly clean and really quite beautiful. The bed linens were gorgeously soft and the views of the mountains were something we never tired of. We arrived in the middle of a record breaking heatwave and the staff worked very hard to try and keep the room temperature low. As a vegetarian I appreciated the lengths and care the chef dedicated to our dinner each evening. I imagine they are working towards a Michelin star. In fact, I would say the dinners we enjoyed here were even better than the two Michelin starred hotel we had just left, as part of our road trip. The service, headed expertly by Jerome was outstanding. We enjoyed the option to have cocktails, drinks and a relaxed menu in the restaurant/bistro opposite. Drinks on the second floor terrace offer the most exquisite views. The village is so authentic and beautiful - you feel almost part of the village and everyone was so friendly. We took some wonderful walks, with waterfalls nearby. The pool is tranquil and very relaxing with incredible views overlooking the snowcapped mountains, and the softest water and perfectly heated. The spa was great too, and we found the whole experience pretty faultless. The little bakery was hard to resist, and like everything else was delicious and extremely well organised. We had to leave, but we are very much looking forward to a return visit in the winter to ski. I can not think of a better place to choose for a truly wonderful, authentic break. We will most definitely be back soon.
