Das Hotel zieht sicher viele Besucher an, die den hohen Zimmerpreisen in Genf entgehen wollen. Anders als auf den Buchungsportalen präsentiert, sind die Zimmer doch ziemlich klein. Ich musste mich jedesmal mit Mühe zwischen Bett und Fernseher hindurchquetschen. Das Personal ist freundlich, man sieht nur selten welches, die Rezeption ist meistens unbesetzt und wird vom benachbarten Restaurant mit bedient. Es gibt einen großen gemeinsamen Parkplatz. Die Umgebung ist sehr industriell. Das Highlight ist das asiatische Restaurant, welches abends viele Gäste anzieht. Wer nur übernachten will, ist im Woods Hôtel gut aufgehoben; in langer Erinnerung wird es wahrscheinlich nicht bleiben.

Wir waren zwei Tage im Jiva und haben es wirklich sehr genossen! Das Zimmer war super komfortabel und mit dem durch Hecken abgetrennten Garten auch grossartig für unseren Hund. A propos Hund: Es gibt einen 3 km langen Weg um das ganze Ressort, der einfach ideal ist mit Hund. Swimmingpool war auch grossartig und jederzeit war eine helfende (Sonnenschirm) oder eine dienstleitende (Getränk am Pool) sofort zur Stelle. Wir waren in beiden Restaurants und fanden beide sehr gut und empfehlenswert. Das französische Jiva ist sicher noch eine Klasse besser, aber auch das Jardin war sehr gut. Besonderer Dank an den Kellner im Jiva, der uns einen wirklich ausserordentlich guten Wein empfohlen hat. Wir kommen wieder!

Hôtel ouvert récemment on essuie les plâtres c’est le cas de le dire … Arrivée : système informatique planté on attend 5 minutes. Le soir : pas de chauffage. Murs de la chambre pas très propres car n’ont pas du être nettoyés suite aux travaux. Salle de bains pas pratique du tout. Porte de la douche mal foutue qui fait qu’on se coince contre les toilettes en sortant. Impossible de se regarder dans la glace à moins de se contorsionner entre le wc et le lavabo. Que dire du support de papier toilette … à vouloir privilégier le design on oublie qu’on doit utiliser ces ustensiles …. Bref peut mieux faire. Petit déjeuner correct, tout comme l’accueil.

This Novotel hotel is conveniently located opposite from the Annemass train station. It is a modern hotel which still has the appearance of a new built addition to the centre of Annemass. The main shopping area is only a few minutes walk away where you will find a range of restaurants, bars and shops. The train into Geneva is only 15 mins and is a great option for a less expensive stay than Geneva priced hotels. This was a last minute booking as I was already in Annemass and unhappy with the hotel I was staying in. Even though I have the Accor app I wished to see if a more compelling price could be offered in person. I am glad to report the discounted prices on the app reflect the best price you can avail of in person. Unfortunately I was unable to check-in before 3pm even though I tried at 10am and 12pm. Although the room was available it was policy that you had to pay for an early check-in. Alas, a wait. The lobby is very contemporary and aesthetically pleasing. It has modern fixtures and fittings to a high standard. There is a small seating area in the lobby which joins on to the larger bar/restaurant area. There is a selection of food offered which is priced fairly. There is also a roof top bar open after 5pm which nice views and a terrace to enjoy the evening sunset. I was in a classic room which had a large comfortable bed with a range of pillows to suit your desired softness. The room is appointed with tea/coffee facilities, a fridge, safe, desk area and large television. The WiFi was a very good speed and strength with open access. There was good storage but it is open style shelving and hanging space. The majority of the room is taken up by the bathroom. A large walk in shower with nice vanity area and a separate lavatory. The room was very comfortable but slightly on the small side compared to other Accor hotels. Of course there are other upgraded room options available if this is important. My only complaint was the cleanliness which was seen from staining spray on the toilet walls and curlies under the toilet- no doubt where the mop had pushed them to. I did not avail of the breakfast as there are some nice bakeries near by. Overall this is a very nice hotel up to the expected Novotel standards. Of all the hotels available in Annemass this is not overpriced and you get a standard you will be happy with. The staff were very friendly and helpful and you were always greeted with a smile upon entry.

Basic Hotel reserviert als Flughafenhotel und als nur 1.3 Meilen vom Flughafen Geneva angekündigt. Da das Hotel jedoch in Frankreich liegt, wenn Sie nicht selbstfahren, wird Ihnen ein Taxi 40 Schweizer Francs kosten. So was Sie mit einem günstigen Zimmerpreis sparen, wird durch den Taxipreis abgewischt. Auf einem positiven Hinweis, Frühstück ist 7.50 Francs jedes, guter Kaffee und eine Menge Lebensmittel. Saubere Zimmer & freundliches Personal. Wenn Sie nach Genf reisen, würde ich empfehlen, den öffentlichen Verkehr zu nutzen. Es gibt einen Bushaltestand zwei Minuten vom Hotel, die mit den wirklich effizienten Straßenbahnen verbunden ist. Nur 4 Euro jedes. Sie müssen Zone 10 reservieren, die das zentrale Gebiet von Genf abdeckt.

Der perfekte, komfortable, erschwingliche Aufenthalt am Ende eines Skiurlaubs die Nacht vor dem Flug. Ein voller Skitag, eine entspannte Transfer nach Genf und den Odalys, und ein kostenloses Shuttle zum Flughafen am nächsten Morgen. Was für ein Gewinn!

Das 27 Flachzimmer ist sehr groß, die Einrichtungen sind komplett, das Wohnen ist sehr komfortabel, ein Problem ist, dass das WiFi wirklich zu langsam ist, die Videokarte wird am Abend viele Male beobachtet, und die Line muss oft wieder angeschlossen werden. Die Türverriegelung ist immer noch besser, wenn die Zika-Regeln beherrscht werden, Aber es dauert noch ein paar Mal, bis die Tür auf den Weg ist.

Waschen und Kücheneinrichtungen. Ping Pong, Volleyball, Pool und Klavier machen es für Kinder großartig. Nur Grippe war kein Zimmerservice während des Aufenthalts, es sei denn, Sie bleiben mehr als eine Woche. Nach 4 Nächten braucht unser Zimmer sicherlich eine saubere... Ich würde empfehlen, die Zimmer alle 3 Tage zu frischieren...

We arrived at 11pm, tired due to a long flight delay. We were hungry and no food was available. We asked the receptionist if we could just have a drink from the bar behind her. She said no. There was no apology. I explained that if we'd arrived at an Accor or Radisson hotel they be able to help us. She just shrugged her shoulders. She wouldn't even provide fresh milk for my wife to make a cup of tea in the room. The check in was also time consuming and complicated. I was asked to pay for the room on arrival. I did this using my American Express card. I was then bizarrely asked for a €250 deposit. The receptionist explained that while I could use Amex for the room the €250 could not be paid on Amex, so I had to pay this on a Visa. I'd paid for the room in full and in advance so why was I being asked for more money? I get a breakage deposit if you're staying a week at a fully equipped apartment but this was just a double room with a bathroom. We were offered breakfast in our welcome email at €8.50 each but this was charged at €29 for two on our departure. Despite the coffee machine not working and there being nothing hot to eat left at 9am. Not good. The room itself was very nice, shame about the staff and ludicrous check in deposit situation.
