Hôtel & Restaurant - le Manoir des Cèdres - Piscine chauffée et Climatisation

The hotel has recently changed owners, so we were a bit apprehensive. Actually it turns out to be a really nice place to stay, clean, comfortable beds, nice hot shower and a very good restaurant. The only negative for me (in the annex room) was the terrible 1972 French colour scheme of purple and acid green. such a shame because otherwise it’s a really nice place to stay. They’ve made the same mistake in the restaurant and was a very old country house, with plastic white marble tables with gold legs and gold and beige chairs. Why they didn’t just go and get antique furniture. I just don’t know. It’s cheaper and much more in keeping with the building. Restaurant was very good, very reasonably priced, and delicious evening meal.. decor though continues in the 1972 French vibe we had a picture of Salvador Dali staring at us throughout breakfast! Staff were very young and clearly inexperienced asked to dry white wine with dinner got something very sweet, at breakfast they brought out about six croissants at a time that quickly disappeared and had to be constantly replenished. They try their best and they’re very very nice people..

A wonderful dinning experience here in a stunning location. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Helped with menu choices and adjustments for dietary requirements. The food was stunning and service excellent in a wonderful environment. Great value for money. We have already booked to return this week. Totally recommend.
