A very deceptive property. When you first arrive the buildings look almost abandoned and in need of repair. We thought the place was closed down. Nevertheless, we rang on the door bell at the rear of the building (which is actually the main entrance) and were warmly greeted by our host. What a transformation inside !!!! Lovely, huge rooms throughout. Plenty of character. The optional breakfast was excellent. Our host explained that the property is undergoing renovation and upgrade with AC being fitted throughout. WiFi signal was good and there is plenty of free parking immediately adjacent to the main house.

We have just come back from a lovely few days staying here to visit family. Patrice was a wonderful host, very friendly and couldn’t do any more to help us. They have worked hard to refurbish the chateau and all the little details are very nice. We had a comfortable and quiet stay. I’d highly recommend.

The room was very comfortable with all amenities one could wish for, including air-conditioning and other modern comforts. Large, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Our room was one of 2 (?) totally newly built above an old barn. Only negative was no hanging space or hangers for clothes. The old chateau itself also has a few, very tastefully decorated rooms. Very French antiques and decorations. The pool is lovely, so is the surrounding garden and vineyards all around. Patrice is a most gracious and helpful host, and his assistant is also very pleasant! We enjoyed the most delicious, gourmet dinner made by Patrice himself, for a very affordable price (3 courses). The breakfast was also very good - we chose the more expensive continental version with cheeses and cold meats - all food is organic!! Can certainly highly recommend, and we hope to return again one day!

Venus entre potes pour passer le week-end on s’est dit en partant qu’on reviendrait juste pour le plaisir de refaire la même chose. Je vous la fait courte : une demeure à tomber par terre, des chambres hyper chaleureuses et un petit-dej pantagruélique composé de très bons produits locaux. Quant à notre hôte Patrice, amoureux de son havre de paix, il cultive l’art de recevoir.

Le hasard a mis cette adresse sur ma route et c’est une chance. C’est un havre de paix et de bienveillance. Patrice a une réelle vocation pour l’hospitalité et est à l’écoute et aux petits soins. Je recommande et le remercie chaleureusement.

Accueil très chaleureux, environnement très apaisant au milieu des vignes , loin de tte agitation urbaine.Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Tt le confort nécessaire dans un cadre vintage. Je recommande vraiment. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Bellissima esperienza in una location davvero suggestiva in mezzo alla campagna francese. La proprietà era tenuta bene e le camere erano molto pulite e curate. Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile e gentile e ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Consigliamo a tutti di soggiornare qui.

Pequeño hotel tipo B&B gestionado por Patrice, un anfitrión amable y servicial. Está en medio de la nada, pero no muy lejos de Burdeos y del estuario. La casa aún no está acabada, porque Patrice sigue reformando y mejorándolo, sobre todo el jardín. Quizá debería invertir en mejores materiales, que con frecuencia se notan "cheap". Pero su esfuerzo porque los huéspedes se sientan cómodos lo compensa. El desayuno Bio, merece la pena. Si se llega tarde, se puede solicitar cena, porque no hay mucho alrededor que este abierto después de las 21:00.
