Sehr sauber und komfortabel. Räumliches Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr alt. Sie werden nicht stickig auf dem Teppich fühlen. Guter Service. Der Wert des Frühstücks ist nur ok. Die Lage ist komfortabel.Sehr nahe dem Park und es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe.

The emails I was bombarded with told me that ”A warm welcome awaits you” but this wasn't the case, the welcome was actually cold and slightly awkward. Stayed on business for 2 nights, room was very very noisy (at front on to main road) with badly fitting windows. I got almost no sleep for two nights. I'd stayed in town because I wanted to be well-rested for work, next time I'll just get up at 4am and drive the 3 1/2 hours to St Albans. The whole hotel was in need of an update/refurb. Yes, I know it's an old building, but you can still keep it clean and up to date. Mattress was horrendous, lumpy, dirty and shapeless - years past it's sell-by date. There is really is no excuse for this sort of thing. The toilet had a macerator which was very noisy, and went off automatically when I used it at 3am. I think I woke up the people in the next room as I heard grumbling voices and then someone come out of their door and walk to mine and listen, presumably wondering what all the din was. Really sorry if this was you! The room was cluttered, with an excess of old furniture and heaters. Cobwebs and filth behind the bed. The sink was separate, actually in the room. Bizarrely, the tap was on a stalk and didn't quite reach over the edge of the basin but just ran onto the lip, which meant water went everywhere. Bar staff seemed friendly and helpful enough. I didn't sample the food. Would've been a one-star review, but for the really great central location, opposite St Albans Cathedral. Won't return.

Hatte einen schönen Halbwochenaufenthalt für 2 Tage. Der Club-Spa war ein Highlight mit außergewöhnlichen Serviceformular Sean auf der Front Desk macht meinen Freunden Geburtstag besonders und Grace aus dem Spa sehr hilfreich. Die einzigen Kritiker wäre die Qualität und Service des Brassiere passen nicht zu den Spa-Erfahrungen. Potenziell wäre es schön, einige der Spas eine heißere Temperatur zu haben. Auch im Allgemeinen fühle ich mich, als hätten sie einige technische Probleme, als ich über das Telefon buchte, sie hatten einige Buchungsprobleme mit ihrem System (Ich bestellte auch einen Geburtstagskuchen bei der Ankunft in den Zimmern, der nicht einmal erwähnt wurde, als ich später fragte, an diesem Tag). Bestellte Getränke durch den QR-Code und sie wurden falsch gekennzeichnet. Es wartete ein bisschen im Café/Brassiere, wenn sie an den Bestellungen binden etc. während die Mitarbeiter Gespräche etc. fortsetzten. Insgesamt eine schöne Erfahrung, aber nur ein paar wenige Dinge würde ich nur für eine luxuriöse Erfahrung & für den Preis, den sie zahlen.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, am Eingang des Einkaufszentrums. Bequem zum Flughafen und nach London. Die Einrichtungen sind gut, es gibt kostenloses Frühstück sowie den ganzen Tag über Kaffee und Tee. Die Zimmerhygiene ist in Ordnung, die Aufteilung angemessen, es ist recht komfortabel und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hoch. Nachts war es etwas laut, draußen war eine Party. Das Personal ist durchschnittlich, arrogant und weiß nicht, wie man einen Computer bedient. Ich habe sie lange warten lassen und konnte mich nicht einmal entschuldigen ...

Wir blieben in der Borehamwood Ibis für eine Nacht für ein Konzert in Wembley. Die Rezeption Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfreich, unsere Optionen zu erklären, als wir früh angekommen waren. Wir konnten nicht einchecken, aber es wurde gesagt, wir könnten Gepäck im Hotel verlassen, bis unser Zimmer verfügbar war. Der Park ist kostenlos im Hotel, aber klein. Wenn es jedoch keine Räume gibt, gibt es einen riesigen Park, den die Bewohner für £1 pro Nacht verwenden können. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten sind komfortabel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der Straße des Hotels, das wie erwartet sehr beschäftigt war, also versuchen Sie, ein Zimmer auf der Autoparkseite des Hotels zu bekommen, um den Verkehrslärm zu vermeiden. Das Frühstück ist eine Buffetwahl von Englisch und kontinental. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, einschließlich Qualitätssauce. In allem würde ich sicherlich noch einmal hier bleiben. Das Personal war von der Rezeption bis zum Zimmerreinigungspersonal sehr angenehm. Das Hotel ist nur so gut wie das Personal, das dort arbeitet, so ein großer Schrei an das Personal von Ibis Borehamwood. Ibis hören, geben Sie ihnen einen Lohnaufschlag.

Die Lage ist super, man ist schnell an der Station Watford Junction; von da aus ca. 20 Min. mit dem Zug nach London; die Oyster Card hat sich definitiv bezahlbar gemacht. Dort hält auch der Bus zu den Harry Potter Studios;Ticket 3 £ hin und zurück. Man gelangt schnell in die Innenstadt, Highstreet; dort ist ein überdachtes Einkaufscenter sowie viele verschiedene Restaurants, Diners. Sehr empfehlenswert! Vorbestelltes Taxi vom Flughafen Luton inkl Parkgebühren 32£.

I had the misfortune to use this B&B some weeks ago, except that, I am not quite sure you can even call it a B&B. Instead, it is simply a chap, looking to make some extra money on his big house – whilst still wanting to retain the benefits that come with not opening your house to strangers, and paying ones at that. So, here is my warning to anyone interested in renting a room in Leafy Suburban Bed & Breakfast (LSBB). It is in effect a sort of scam that is misleading, and here is why. Do NOT even try and rent this property if… You like B&Bs that are fully transparent in their advertising and you get what you paid for courtesy of your hard earned money You (and anyone that comes with you) do not want to suffer the indignity and embarrassment of having to take off your shoes upon entry (stuff a private owner may demand of you but, a place, intended for public rental changing you also?). I wonder why this is not stated in the his glitzy ads? Because he knows, if he did, nobody would even look at his so-called B&B You want a bit of privacy when using the bathroom/toilet. LSBB advertises its nice looking bathroom/toilet on accommodation seeking websites. What they do not tell you is that, you’ll be sharing with several other tenants. In short, you will need to be dressed appropriately and have to peep out into the corridor each time you wish to use it, to ensure nobody else is using it You like to get what you pay for and get the little things that typically come with a B&B (such as cups or glasses perhaps, coffee making facilities perhaps, etc.). You do not get anything with LSBB – just a small room and nowt else! You want to be close to civilisation such as public transport and some shops maybe. This place is in the middle of nowhere and to even find the place, you had better have a degree in place finding. There are no signs on the long and badly lit road it is on. The lovely looking and spacious kitchen and garden (advertised) are nice, no doubt. However, they are largely for show. During my unfortunate stay there, at NO point was I invited to use either, and although I did not use the kitchen, I have since read on here that, its more one of, it’s all DIY (Do-it-Yourself) in this poor excuse for a B&B. Do not use this property also, if you want to be able to talk (at normal sound levels) in your room whether on the phone or to your companion. We were asked to keep our voice down, which I thought was rather rude. The prices he charges are even MORE than many quality hotels that offer 10 times better service. For one search, he was charging £64 a night whilst many hotels were either the same or less. In short, this is an owner wanting to have his cake and eat it. Someone wanting the best of both worlds. Charge the peasants to have a room in his sumptuous house and keep their money whilst, on the other hand, wanting all the benefits of a private house owner with NO visiting strangers. Wir sind gerade von einem 2-Nacht-Stadt zurückgekommen. Wir haben dieses Hotel als eine 30-minütige Fahrt von Wembley gewählt und war nicht wie die anderen Hotels teuer. Wir kamen 2 Stunden früh für eine Kontrolle in der Rezeption, aber der Herr bei der Rezeption hat uns in keinem Problem geprüft und uns Zugang zu unserem Zimmer gegeben. Unser Zimmer war eine gute Größe mit einem Doppelbett und zusätzlichen Ausziehen Sofabett. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich und hatte alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigt haben, wie Eisen, Kettle, Haartrockner und Handtücher. Es gab sogar ein kleines Zeichen im Badezimmer, dass wir wissen, ob wir etwas vergessen haben, nur dass sie wissen. Das Frühstück war beide Tage schön mit viel Wahl. Es war zu Ende beschäftigt, aber wir wurden angeraten, das bei der Eincheckung. Wir haben heute Morgen nicht von Wembley bis 3 Uhr zurückgekommen, aber nach einer schnellen E-Mail an die Rezeption um halb 7, sie sortierten sich spät aus, so dass wir ein bisschen mehr Schlaf haben könnten vor unserer 4.5 Stunde Reise nach Hause. Das Personal hier arbeitet so hart und es schien die gleichen 2 Gesichter unsere ganze 3-Tage-Aufenthalt. Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie sie es tun und lachen weiter. Nichts war zu viel Problem für sie. Wir werden definitiv zurückkehren.
