Wir sind gerade von einem 2-Nacht-Stadt zurückgekommen. Wir haben dieses Hotel als eine 30-minütige Fahrt von Wembley gewählt und war nicht wie die anderen Hotels teuer. Wir kamen 2 Stunden früh für eine Kontrolle in der Rezeption, aber der Herr bei der Rezeption hat uns in keinem Problem geprüft und uns Zugang zu unserem Zimmer gegeben. Unser Zimmer war eine gute Größe mit einem Doppelbett und zusätzlichen Ausziehen Sofabett. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich und hatte alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigt haben, wie Eisen, Kettle, Haartrockner und Handtücher. Es gab sogar ein kleines Zeichen im Badezimmer, dass wir wissen, ob wir etwas vergessen haben, nur dass sie wissen. Das Frühstück war beide Tage schön mit viel Wahl. Es war zu Ende beschäftigt, aber wir wurden angeraten, das bei der Eincheckung. Wir haben heute Morgen nicht von Wembley bis 3 Uhr zurückgekommen, aber nach einer schnellen E-Mail an die Rezeption um halb 7, sie sortierten sich spät aus, so dass wir ein bisschen mehr Schlaf haben könnten vor unserer 4.5 Stunde Reise nach Hause. Das Personal hier arbeitet so hart und es schien die gleichen 2 Gesichter unsere ganze 3-Tage-Aufenthalt. Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie sie es tun und lachen weiter. Nichts war zu viel Problem für sie. Wir werden definitiv zurückkehren.

Wir waren am 4. September früh hier. Wir kamen früh an und der Empfangsmann war sehr freundlich und sofort arrangierte, dass unser Zimmer sauber und bereit für uns war, obwohl wir in 2 Stunden früh gecheckt. Sie war sehr effizient und ich bemerkte, dass sie am nächsten Morgen das Frühstücksgut vermieden und die Rezeption verwaltet, tut mir leid, ihr Name nicht mehr zu erinnern. Mein Mann ist behindert, so dass sie uns ein großes Zimmer mit nassem Zimmer ohne zusätzliche Gebühr, was sie sicherlich in London Hotels tun. Sehr komfortabel und hatte eine ruhige Nacht, keine Türen klingeln, Straßenlärm oder Leute sind röhlich. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet, gut gekocht und heiß. Überall sehr sauber und genossen unserem Aufenthalt. Schöne Lage neben dem Fluss, Schließung und kleine Marina mit schönen Bars. Ich würde wieder besuchen und empfehlen.

Die Lage ist super, man ist schnell an der Station Watford Junction; von da aus ca. 20 Min. mit dem Zug nach London; die Oyster Card hat sich definitiv bezahlbar gemacht. Dort hält auch der Bus zu den Harry Potter Studios;Ticket 3 £ hin und zurück. Man gelangt schnell in die Innenstadt, Highstreet; dort ist ein überdachtes Einkaufscenter sowie viele verschiedene Restaurants, Diners. Sehr empfehlenswert! I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Luton Airport and had a generally positive experience. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, especially for early morning flights, as it is just a short walk or shuttle ride from the terminal. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a particularly comfortable bed that ensured a good night’s sleep before an early flight. Additionally, the staff were welcoming and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth and assisting with any queries. The on-site restaurant offers a decent variety of meals, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good range of options. Room service was prompt, and the food quality was satisfactory. The hotel also provides good amenities, including a fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, and business services, with ample parking for those driving in. However, being close to the airport does bring some inevitable noise from the planes. While the windows are soundproofed, light sleepers might still notice it. While the convenience is a huge plus, the rates can be on the higher side compared to other nearby accommodations, so it's worth booking in advance to secure a better deal. The immediate area around the hotel is quite utilitarian, with few attractions or dining options outside the hotel itself. Nevertheless, the Holiday Inn Luton Airport is a solid choice for those prioritising convenience and comfort before or after a flight. The staff’s hospitality and the hotel’s amenities make it a pleasant stay despite some minor drawbacks.

Angemessene Lage zum Flughafen Luton, etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Angemessener Wert auch. Im Allgemeinen sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt von einer Nacht, mit Ausnahme des Frühstücks. Hauptsächlich der schwache und geschmacklose Kaffee aus dem Automaten und die verhärteten Klümpchen im Rührei vom Buffet. Schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für 12,50 £ p/p am Vorabend gebucht.

I had the misfortune to use this B&B some weeks ago, except that, I am not quite sure you can even call it a B&B. Instead, it is simply a chap, looking to make some extra money on his big house – whilst still wanting to retain the benefits that come with not opening your house to strangers, and paying ones at that. So, here is my warning to anyone interested in renting a room in Leafy Suburban Bed & Breakfast (LSBB). It is in effect a sort of scam that is misleading, and here is why. Do NOT even try and rent this property if… You like B&Bs that are fully transparent in their advertising and you get what you paid for courtesy of your hard earned money You (and anyone that comes with you) do not want to suffer the indignity and embarrassment of having to take off your shoes upon entry (stuff a private owner may demand of you but, a place, intended for public rental changing you also?). I wonder why this is not stated in the his glitzy ads? Because he knows, if he did, nobody would even look at his so-called B&B You want a bit of privacy when using the bathroom/toilet. LSBB advertises its nice looking bathroom/toilet on accommodation seeking websites. What they do not tell you is that, you’ll be sharing with several other tenants. In short, you will need to be dressed appropriately and have to peep out into the corridor each time you wish to use it, to ensure nobody else is using it You like to get what you pay for and get the little things that typically come with a B&B (such as cups or glasses perhaps, coffee making facilities perhaps, etc.). You do not get anything with LSBB – just a small room and nowt else! You want to be close to civilisation such as public transport and some shops maybe. This place is in the middle of nowhere and to even find the place, you had better have a degree in place finding. There are no signs on the long and badly lit road it is on. The lovely looking and spacious kitchen and garden (advertised) are nice, no doubt. However, they are largely for show. During my unfortunate stay there, at NO point was I invited to use either, and although I did not use the kitchen, I have since read on here that, its more one of, it’s all DIY (Do-it-Yourself) in this poor excuse for a B&B. Do not use this property also, if you want to be able to talk (at normal sound levels) in your room whether on the phone or to your companion. We were asked to keep our voice down, which I thought was rather rude. The prices he charges are even MORE than many quality hotels that offer 10 times better service. For one search, he was charging £64 a night whilst many hotels were either the same or less. In short, this is an owner wanting to have his cake and eat it. Someone wanting the best of both worlds. Charge the peasants to have a room in his sumptuous house and keep their money whilst, on the other hand, wanting all the benefits of a private house owner with NO visiting strangers.
