Matilde B&B - la Paz, Carmen

It is quite outside of any village and right on the main road just after the official Chocolate Hills viewpoint and before Carmen, so we were a bit sceptical first when we arrived and realized, but it all turned out to be a very-very nice experience during our 3 nights stay! Thank you for all the staff members, who did everything for us to feel welcome, the breakfast was freshly prepared and great every day, outside right in front of our room. On the first night after it turned out there's really nothing nearby, the security guy took me to the next shop with his scooter and saved us (They also serve dinner but the time we figured out it was too late already for that night). Rented our own scooter right from them the next day :) Our room upstairs way just perfect for us, even though the B&B is on the busy main road, traffic almost stopped at the time we went to sleep. Can really recommend even if staying for shorter, you can catch the sunrise at Chocolate Hills within 10 minutes..

We stayed here for two nights. We did the Bohol Country tour and we went for a hike that’s close to the accommodation. Accommodation was good and clean. Food was wonderful. The service was amazing!!! Our hostess organised everything for us and took great care of us. Thanks for all the mango smoothies ❤️❤️
