Rixile Kruger Lodge

Rixile Kruger Lodge is located within a secured and gated complex; it is quietly tucked behind the Kruger Gate Hotel, where visitors will have to go through a security check prior to entering. We really appreciated the serenity and safety measures put into place, to ensure that our stay was peaceful and uninterrupted. The location itself is unbeatable - just minutes away from the entrance to Kruger National Park, as well as a well-stocked supermarket within Skukuza. The unit was clean, tidy, and well designed. There was plenty of space for 2 to walk around and place our luggage. The bed was also comfortable. The highlight of our night was enjoying a braai (bonfire grill) dinner on the patio of the unit. Clint, our host, kindly prepared all the necessary fire starter, kitchen utensils, as well as salt and pepper, that would be required for the braai. Overall, Rixile is top notch and a well recommended option compared to other properties within its price range!

The cleanliness, attention to detail from Clint and the service he provides to his guests are exceptional. After one of our visits to the park our car was very dusty, I asked Clint would ot be possible for me to rinse it beside the lodge. He had it washed for us. He undertook our clothes washing and left them neatly in the room. Everything you need for a few days to visit the park, is right here in Rixile and more. The only thing I would advise, is that you use a jeep or utility vwhicle to access the lodge, as the road is very bumpy.
