Maitland City Motel

We checked in about 8:30 and were told there was no parking within the motel with a boat trailer on the back and we had to park in the overflow park next door in the bowls club. We parked close to our room to unpack, my phone went 10 mins later and it was the manager saying we couldnt park there, I asked him why there were other vehicles parked with trailers on, he said he would call them and ask them to move, clearly it was all lies as we woke up this morning and they were still parked within the motel. We woke up and the whole car park was empty apart from the two vehicles with trailers. Rules should be the same for everybody, we were a young family with two kids that had just driven 13 hours and wanted a room to stay and somewhere we could park the car and boat that was close to our room like the other two gentlemen did! As for an onsite manager answering their phone if you need them it went to voice mail! No help there! Can't handle liars! We will not be back!

Good value and clean basic rooms. But only has auto check in. I booked online and when I arrived, there was only a closed reception office with a machine outside. It dispensed my plastic door card. It was very impersonal, no meals, no friendly manager to talk to. I travel frequently and I hope too many motels go this way. It is bad enough doing your own check out at the supermarkets etc. I won't be back

Stayed over a wekend with a mature group. Automated check-in posed a problem for older people but the Manager sorted it out very well. Value accomodation and the Maitland Club is adjacent for meals Etcy

The motel is located right on the highway BUT there is no traffic noise even though our room was at the front of the motel. Quirky because the check in kiosk is unusual but there is a reception phone on the side of the kiosk and the young lady assisted us and we had no problems. The room was small but we had a double and single bed. Foxtel on TV and a bathroom with a large shower. No the motel is not new but it is very practical for an overnight stay. A licensed club is at the rear of the premises and a large shopping centre is 200 metres away offering everything you need. Stayed on a Friday night, $115, great value for the price.
