Stayed as could not get trains home after Liverpool football match. Very convenient for station, made really welcome by friendly staff. Good location for exploring Cheshire and Merseyside. Pleased to have found this economical hideaway.

For me this was excellent value for money to stay on a match day. The room was huge and I do like the old traditional look of the rooms with a huge bathroom along with substantial tea and coffee facilities. It is right in the city centre and although I couldn't check in early they were able to store my luggage securely while I wanderd around the great city

I'm currently staying at the hotel.i did stay here a number of years ago, and it was a good hotel then.i checked in and went to my room,it was quite dirty throughout. So i went to reception and asked to change to a cleaner room.I then looked at that,it was still dirty.back to reception, again try another room.it had a smell like an open sewer.so back again, at this point I asked to see the manager. What I need to point out is the reception staff and manager were very polite and friendly. I was told its an old building and during rain sometimes the drains back up and cause a smell.i explained the dirtiness of the rooms,stains on carpets and beds,peeling painted walls,and grime along surfaces, you could play noughts and crosses on the surfaces due to the amount of dust and grime.the remote controls were filthy.put you off picking one up.eventually I got a clean room.the manager took me to check it out herself. She was a nice lady who was doing what she could.after that I thought I'd watch a bit of TV.but all the channels had been programmed in the wrong way,just made it vert awkward to find a show.this morning at breakfast I went to restaurant and wanted a cup of coffee.went to machine and no cups,you have to ask to have one brought out.ok then.i ordered some pancakes of menu after 25 minutes 2 dried pancakes were brought out.ok ill have a glass of orange juice,lukewarm .the buffet,o asked for a gork as non at table ,a stained set of cutlery were provided to me.breakfast it's self was fine,no issues there.but overall breakfast experience a let down.at nearly £17 a head it should be better.though mine was part of the room rate.as you read through this review some parts may seem trivial ,possibly so.but it's the fact that when you add up all these small things it gives a overall bad experience. I have stayed a various holiday inns,and this isn't really up there.i was offered 2000 ihg reward points as a gesture from the manager. To put that into context,it costs around 20 000 points for a 1 night stay at a holiday inn. So really you can't do anything with 2000 points.a percentage of the bill would have been more appropriated.i think this hotel needs a major overall, and some of the staff retraining. The positives are the reception staff and manager.

Entschlossen, als Reisen von Cotswolds nach Whiston für einen Krankenhausbesuch zu buchen. Sooo freut uns, dass wir es getan haben! Ausgezeichnete Lage. Schöne Außen- und einfache Parkplätze. Sehr warme Willkommen bei Ankunft und sehr einfach zu buchen. Personal ist glücklich, glücklich, hilfsbereit und angenehm nicht nur für die Kunden, sondern auch für einander. Dies ist in dieser Industrie heute eine seltene Zeit und ist herzlich zu sehen und zu treffen. Das Zimmer war ziemlich groß, so war das Badezimmer. Alle Zimmer sind hinter dem Gebäude mit einer sehr gemütlichen und angenehmen Passage zu ihnen. Ein warmes, ruhiges und ruhiges Nachts schlafen in einem sehr komfortablen Zimmer. Wir haben hier gegessen und auch Frühstück. Nichts war zu viel beunruhigt. Teile für das Abendessen waren auf der großzügigen Seite und das Essen war lecker. Ich würde sagen, dieses Hotel ist ein kleines Gemell und würde jederzeit zurückkehren. Ich habe es bereits an die Familie empfohlen!

The stay was on my way to Manchester airport. The heater in my first room was not working, but they moved me to another room All was OK with the 2nd room, until I went to use the shower. The head was not working, in as much as it was like using a tap. But overall a great place to stay. I would recommend it, despite the 2 minor issues.

Also, um mit dem Hauptsache für mich zu beginnen, wenn ich irgendwo wohne ist das Personal und Service und deshalb bewerte ich dieses Hotel 5* für 3 Nächte mit meinem Partner geblieben und wurde von der Rezeption Mitarbeiter geblasen, freundlich und wissensvoll und nichts war auch Sehr schwierig. Ich bin mit Google-Karten gebrüht, so war immer die Richtungen zu den Dingen und jeder war wirklich hilfreich. Zum Zimmer, wir blieben im Gelben U-Boot, massiven Zimmer, größten, die ich je gesehen habe, ein paar kleine Nigger, aber wahrscheinlich nur mich. Ein Bin im Hauptzimmer wäre super handlich wie nur ein kleiner im Badezimmer. Meine Freundin liebte das Jacuzzi-Badewanne, aber ich bevorzuge eine Dusche und obwohl die tatsächliche Dusche war Fab ich war wie Bambi auf dem Eis im Tube, so viel so musste ich auf einem Flannel stehen, ich weiß, dass das Jacuzzi das Hauptsache ist, aber eine Art Dusche Mat wäre nett wie super. Slippery Tub! Lage war perfekt, so zentrale und trotz der Wechselkurse Woche und ein LFC internationales Home-Spiel waren wir nicht durch irgendwelche späten Nachtlärm überhaupt stört. Danke für einen brillanten Aufenthalt und würde nicht zögern, dieses Hotel zu empfehlen

Really lovely surrounding of the old boating houses and Boat Museum Easy to get to and a 5 min drive to Cheshire Oaks and only 30mins to Liverpool Centre The hotel is clean and up to date with a proper leisure facility too. Breakfast was all you could want and quality was excellent too A great hotel for a bargain price through Trip.com
