Hired venue and food for family/friends reunion. Dawn ran through everything with me and addressed any concerns, even helped out advising of someone who made cakes which was brilliant. The day was perfect, the food exceptional, and room laid out perfect, everyone enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

We had our groups Christmas lunch of 47 people, very enjoyable the food was delicious. The staff worked very hard. We were joined by another group which meant there wasn’t anywhere for us to have a dance which we enjoy doing as there was a singer.

We had two weeks to organise a Summer BBQ for our workplace as Andrew was such a huge help! He arranged this with no issue for 60 people within a matter of days. The food was great, the outside and inside space immaculate. We were able to link our music to the speaker which was nice too. I can't fault our experience and will be definitely booking for events in the future. Thank you to the Rose and Crown Team!

We had our wedding here and it was truly the most beautiful day of our lives. The old rose and crown is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It has the most amazing view. Dawn is an absolutely amazing wedding planner she did everything perfect. Andrew is a blessing and a lovely gentleman. They did everything to give us the best day ever and they truly succeeded. We stayed the night before and the night after the rooms are lovely, the bed is the most comfortable we've slept in. Thank you so much for everything you did for us the old rose and crown will truly forever be in our hearts people and place and will always be somewhere we stay.

As a wedding venue, the Old Rose and Crown offers exceptional value and creates unforgettable experiences. Dawn, Andrew and the team were so warm, welcoming and helpful on the day. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. The venue is so intimate and unique, located in beautiful surroundings, that our wedding day was made unforgettable, and we will cherish it forever. The option to hire rooms is so convenient, and the standards of the rooms are very high. The chef and his team were amazing and all of our guests were bowled over by the food. The evening buffet in itself was an absolute feast and the wedding breakfast cooked to perfection. If you are looking for a venue that will deliver real value for your money and give you a wedding day you will look back on with happy memories, look no further than the Old Rose and Crown.

We booked the Old rose and crown for our wedding reception, the service we received from the hotel was amazing, the staff were always friendly and helpful and made sure our day was perfect and catered to our needs. The location was great and our guests said how beautiful the grounds were and how nice the rooms were as well. Would definitely recommend them for any special events.
