The room was clean but the shower was poor, mould and the door didn’t close properly.

Really cute spot with all the facilities needed. A little off the beaten path but next to the Thames walk and close to public transit. Would recommend

If your going to London, consider this. Seriously this review could look like a paid advert. we stayed here on the last leg of our 5-week trip to the UK. we choose Woolwich because we have family nearby, so it was convenient for that as well as its proximity to London. As hosts, Gamal, and his wife could not have been more helpful, courteous, and friendly, making us feel completely at home. They spent time explaining the easiest way to transit to London, an excellent rundown on the facilities etc. The room was well kitted out with Microwave and a fridge, cutlery, etc and was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the bedding crisp and fresh. There is a communal kitchen with a free-to-use washing machine and dryer, a rarity for free use from our experience. the site is on a quiet street with only one way out so no pass-through traffic, well insulated from outside noise. the site is a short walk to bus stops which take you onto Woolwich and beyond heading east and to Nth Greenwich terminal to the west, from there it's a very easy transit into London on the Jubilee tube line. When we return to London, space permitting, on the dates we will be there, this is where we will stay again.
