Hotels mit Pools in Rouen

Just stayed here on the last night of our trip to France. The hotel is slap bang in the middle of historic Rouen and is itself an historic building being a 500 year old mansion. We followed the hotel sat nav instructions which brought us through security barriers to directly down the side of the building. Very convenient considering that Rouen, being a very old city, has lots of winding streets and I couldn't see that much in the way of parking. Everything about our stay was really great. It's the first time we've had a stone spiral staircase to get to our room which looked out over the inner courtyard. Although the receptionists spoke perfect English they respected the fact that I tried to communicate with them in French and stuck to that language. The spa was very high quality and the pool long enough to get some serious lengths in. Breakfast was very high quality. The stand out noticeable thing though about the hotel was the service level. When we checked out we decided to spend more time in Rouen rather than heading back early to catch our ferry. Rather than storing our luggage in reception they had it placed in our car which had been valet parked. Everything about the place oozed quality and if we ever make it back to Rouen would have no hesitation in staying again. My only problem is that Bourgtheroulde is a complicated name to pronounce :)

We had an overnight stay after a long drive from Switzerland. Parking available under the hotel. Refreshing swim in the pool. The restaurant and food were formidable. The staff were friendly, polite young people and were happy and egar to help. The panacota desert was off the scale. Would most certainly return hear.
