Hotels in der Nähe von Papakura Geyser, Rotorua

Wir kamen auf kurzem Urlaub und wurden dieses Hotel von der Familie empfohlen. Wir waren nicht enttäuscht! Der Service war großartig, der Spa war wunderbar und die Betten waren super komfortable. Die Variante am kontinentalen Frühstück war ziemlich gut und das Personal war wunderschön. Absolut empfehlen!

Ich war drei Nächte im Hotel Sudima Lake Rotorua während einer Konferenz. Der Sudima wurde ausgewählt, da es die günstigste der vier von den Konferenzveranstaltern aufgeführten war. Die Unterkunft und das Buffet Frühstück waren standardmäßig und würden nicht in sich eine Bewertung, entweder positiv oder negativ. Was eine Bewertung war, war jedoch die Check-in-Erfahrung. Deshalb ist die Ebene-zwei Rating. Nachdem ich in einer Reihe von Unterkünften – von oben bis hin zum Backpacker geblieben bin - ich kann mich nicht an etwas wie das erinnern, entweder hier in Neuseeland oder im Ausland. Es gab eine Person am Rezeption und nur eine andere Gäste-Check-in vor mir. Diese Eincheckung dauerte eine anscheinend unendliche Zeit, aber das kann aus irgendeinem Grund geschehen. Mein Eincheck schien normal, aber dann die Erfahrung „geht zu werfen“. Ich bestellte ein Zimmer im dritten Stock, ich ging ordnungsgemäß mit meinem Tasche zum Zimmer. Dabei ging ich zurück zum Empfangsbüro, erläuterte die Situation und wurde mit einem neuen Satz von Türkarten ausgestattet. Ich ging dann zurück zum dritten Stock und ja, die Türkarten diese Zeit erfolgreich öffneten die Tür. Als ich jedoch ins Zimmer kam, war ich überrascht, Beweise zu finden, dass jemand anderes das Zimmer nutzte. Das Material um den Zimmer zeigte, dass diese Person auch ein Konferenzteilnehmer war. (Interessant war eine halbe Alkoholtupferflasche Whisky auf einem Tisch, aber leider war es eine Mischung und nicht ein einziges Malz, so war es keine Versuchung, ein paar Swigs zu nehmen.) Bei dem Telefon des Zimmers rief ich die Rezeption Nummer, aber es gab keine Antwort. Besorgt, dass der Einwohner des Zimmers zurückkehren kann, ich wieder zurück zum Empfangstisch, um mit einem neuen Zimmer und entsprechenden Türkarten zu versorgen. Ein weiterer Aufstieg zum dritten Stock erfolgte endlich mit gültigen Zimmerbesetzung im Sudima Lake Rotorua Hotel. Die Zeit verstreckt sich seit dem ersten Eintritt des Hotels auf ca. 40 Minuten.

Ich werde mit den Dingen beginnen, die ich gefallen habe. Das Frühstücksbuffet. Es war schön, einen schnellen Weg zu einem guten Frühstück im Hotel zu haben. Die Dekoration im Lobby war sehr nett. Nun die nicht zu netten Teilen: Das Zimmer wurde mit 2 Queen-size-Betten gekrampft. (Obwohl es einen Kühlschrank und Kessel hatte.) Ich habe die Gärten geöffnet, um von geschroteten Scheren überrascht zu werden. Das Wi-Fi war sehr schlecht. Der Zugang ist nicht behinderbar. Die Vorderstetten hatten keinen Railing. Die Rampe war groß für Gepäck, aber hätte nicht einen Rollstuhl gebucht. (Ich habe schlechte Knie und benutze einen Kaninchen.) Sie scheinen unterbesetzt. Ein gemeinsames Problem während unserer Reise. Aber das Personal war hilfreich. Sie haben die gedrehten Scheren anerkannt und planen, sie alle zu ersetzen.

We just had an amazing 5 day stay! We had a family group of 8 (multi-generations) and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabins were perfect, with comfy beds, nice linen, small kitchen with all the essentials, and a bathroom. The communal areas were lovely and clean and well equipped. Nice communal lounge with a fire place. The big pool was heated and the thermal hot pools were awesome! Kids had fun on the trikes and the bouncing pillow. The staff were very helpful, the housekeeping staff were fantastic. Thanks Tasman Bay!

Ich liebe dieses Hotel. Ehrlich gesagt, ich hatte nicht viel erwartet, wenn es um das alte und vintage Hotel geht. Aber als ich das Hotel eintrat, fand ich das Hotel ganz besondere und einzigartige. Ja, es ist alt und vintage, aber es ist auch gut gepflegt. Für das Zimmer, ich mag es, weil es große Fenster hat, einschließlich Bad und das Sonnenlicht kann durch. Für die Lage, ich mag es, weil es so nah an der zentralen Busstop, Eater Streets und Polynesian Spa ist. Weil ich nicht so eine Lage fahren ist für mich sehr wichtig. Wie viele andere Orte in NZ, scheint dieses Hotel auch kurz mit Personal ausgestattet zu sein. Aber das Personal hat immer noch das Beste getan, um zu dienen. Sie sind nett und freundlich. Ich wünschte, ich könnte für ein paar weitere Paare in den Hotels bleiben und dort die einzigartige Atmosphäre genießen. Ich würde wieder bleiben, wenn ich jemals nach Rotorua gehe.

The positives first: The hotel is not terrible. It was not our first choice, but we ended up booking here, as well as booking our friends we were meeting here and another couple joined us for one night and paid for a room. We alerted the manager and he put us all on the the same floor, with a lake view. The room was clean. A little tight on space, but this is not a negative. Staff were friendly. The negatives: NO HOT WATER!! We stayed for 4 nights. One person out of 6 had a hot shower, as he showered just after we arrived. That was the last hot shower. The water was progressively colder, each day. And it was the whole hotel. This was the topic of conversation with every other hotel guest we happened to meet in the lift. We complained, every day. At each stage, we were told they were... waiting for someone to turn up...the problem was fixed but because everyone kept using the water it could not warm up...the problem was not fixed, they were waiting for someone from somewhere else. I think they had no idea and I did feel sorry for the staff, but a hot shower is absolutely a basic requirement. At no stage was there a note slipped under the door to apologise and ask us to bear with them. It was incredibly frustrating. It seems petty after this to mention the bathrooms also need a bit of care and smell very mildewy, but if it were not for the hot water issue, this would have been my main complaint. The last thing to mention, it rained the whole time we were there and the Ibis has no lounge area. We ended up sitting in one of the rooms, as a group, having a natter, like high schoolers. This is more of a Rotorua problem, though, as Rotorua seemed to shut down early and there was no where to just chat, in the evenings. Ibis Rotorua is not somewhere we will stay again.

Was one if the cheaper options for our dates, we were pleasantly surprised. It looked and smelt new, had elevators to our floor. Room was small but practical, had fridge and jug. Bed was a double and quite small and for some reason seemed short but we slept OK. Very clean and well kept. Had small full length widow that looked into small atrium of the other rooms. Only negative was when the toilet was flushed, a sewerage smell came up through the drain. Easy parking, bottle store and restaurant on site but didnt use. Situated almost opposite luge. Had a car so location to town was not an issue, however, there were fast food outlets within walking distance that we noticed anyway. Overall, was good for our needs and would stay again.

Expectations were pretty high for this place as it has ‘Resort’ in the name. The pictures made it look lovely online, that is where it ended. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. I already knew the hotel was not in town so the location did not bother me. But if you are not wanting to travel much stay closer to town, as this place is 15mins away from the main drag. The view outside is stunning, unfortunately with all the rain there was mud everywhere which made it hard to walk outside of the hotel for a nice picture. You would think being a resort this would be a priority to fix up as soon as possible, even put gravel down instead of grass. The rooms were nice and big and the heat pump was lovely. Cleanliness is a big problem. Taps were still marked with water stains and dust, I wiped it and it came off straight away. Bathroom wasn’t mopped and the floor was not vacuumed. Toilet had marks in it that I could clean away, toilet brush was old and dirty (you know what I mean :() The ‘Spa’ area wasn’t the best either. 2 lonely spa pools sit out the back, with a grotty looking cold pool. The main pool looked lovely, but it was cold so wasn’t being used by anyone. The bar here is great, has a great UK British pub style, however someone is not always there to serve, we had to cancel drinks as they took the girl 30mins… The bed was comfortable and the overall area was nice and peaceful, couldn’t hear other rooms or anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. However, for us there were too many downs and we will not be returning.

很多人來藍湖都是開着房車拉着遊艇來的，藍湖的景色不必多説看圖，坐湖邊牙齒和頭皮都放鬆了。度假村分帶獨立衞生間和公用衞生間/浴室的。大多數都是當地人來水上運動和游泳/露營的，中國遊客很少。建議1-3月帶游泳圈或沖浪板來。周圍沒什麼餐廳，我們背了方便麪西紅柿來的，幾天後吃完了就打車10分鐘到旁邊Terawera湖邊的Landing Cafe去吃東西，艷陽天湖灘很熱鬧，都是孩子還有成人帶着狗🐶過來玩兒水，湖水清澈見底，對面是火山，可以搭訕讓當地有遊艇的人開到火山腳下的熱水灘泡温泉♨️。

Wir kamen in diesem wunderbaren Ort durch Unfallbuchung letzte Minute während unserer Reisen in NZ, so glücklich! und entschied, eine Nacht zu buchen, weil wir es so sehr liebten! Danny und Mable sind die schönsten Gastgeber, die uns bei unseren Planungsaktivitäten geholfen und uns vernichtet haben. Das Frühstück ist absolut erstaunlich: Mabel macht schöne Schöpfungen mit Früchten und leckeren Gerichten mit lokalen Produkten, Avocado und Blumen aus ihrem eigenen Garten. Ihr persönlicher Kontakt macht dieses B&B absolute Höhepunkt und wir empfehlen sicher, wenn Sie die Chance erhalten bleiben. Vielen Dank!!
