We rented a 2 bedroom cabin, which I would describe as ”Rustic”. It's high-end camping. The living room had a huge glass door that slid across and out of the way, so the whole inside was exposed to the outside; quite lovely. The kitchen was large, but not stocked for anyone who wanted to use the oven (had to ask for oven-proof ware). The first night nothing worked so we called and they replaced the microwave and showed us where the circuit breaker was for the stove top (in a cupboard beside the stove). This had to activated before and after using the stove-top! Beds were comfortable; unit was clean; only 2 hangers in the closet. If you're used to camping, this is luxury. P.S. Internet not free and was very iffy.

The positives first: The hotel is not terrible. It was not our first choice, but we ended up booking here, as well as booking our friends we were meeting here and another couple joined us for one night and paid for a room. We alerted the manager and he put us all on the the same floor, with a lake view. The room was clean. A little tight on space, but this is not a negative. Staff were friendly. The negatives: NO HOT WATER!! We stayed for 4 nights. One person out of 6 had a hot shower, as he showered just after we arrived. That was the last hot shower. The water was progressively colder, each day. And it was the whole hotel. This was the topic of conversation with every other hotel guest we happened to meet in the lift. We complained, every day. At each stage, we were told they were... waiting for someone to turn up...the problem was fixed but because everyone kept using the water it could not warm up...the problem was not fixed, they were waiting for someone from somewhere else. I think they had no idea and I did feel sorry for the staff, but a hot shower is absolutely a basic requirement. At no stage was there a note slipped under the door to apologise and ask us to bear with them. It was incredibly frustrating. It seems petty after this to mention the bathrooms also need a bit of care and smell very mildewy, but if it were not for the hot water issue, this would have been my main complaint. The last thing to mention, it rained the whole time we were there and the Ibis has no lounge area. We ended up sitting in one of the rooms, as a group, having a natter, like high schoolers. This is more of a Rotorua problem, though, as Rotorua seemed to shut down early and there was no where to just chat, in the evenings. Ibis Rotorua is not somewhere we will stay again.

Entschuldigung - und es dauert mir viel, um eine schlechte Bewertung zu schreiben - aber ich hatte gebucht, hier 2 Nächte über den Easter Wochenende zu bleiben. Ich habe das Zimmer mehrere Monate im Voraus gebucht, da ich Dinge im Urlaub kenne, und dann habe ich letzte Woche einen Anruf, um zu entschuldigen, aber wir können Sie nicht mehr unterhalten und dass ich woanders wohnen musste. Gibt es etwas über die Arbeit, die getan werden muss? Durch die Woche vor dem Ostern zu sagen, war ich mit buchstäblich nicht wo zu bleiben Nur was in Rotorua übrig war Hostels Betten oder Luxusunterkünfte. Sie hatten vorgeschlagen, dass ich ein anderes Hotel versuche, aber sogar das war wie doppelt den Preis, den ich für ihr Hotel gezahlt hatte, also danke nicht. Also jetzt bin ich fest in Cambridge und muss jeden Tag 1 Stunde probieren, jeden Tag zu genießen Rotorua über mein Urlaubsende. Ich verstehe, dass Dinge passieren, aber das war wirklich schlimm schlecht Zeit. Nicht überhaupt beeindruckt.

Was für einen tollen Familienfreundlichen Ort zu bleiben. Alle Einrichtungen waren unschädlich. Haartrockner in allen Badezimmern, Tricks zum Rennen und Spielplatz für die Kinder. Sauber Schwimmbad und Spa-Pools. Das Personal war wunderschön. Syrien war unglaublich hilfreich bei der Suche nach Unterkünften für 3 Familienmitglieder, die ein Zimmer für die Nacht benötigten. Sehr schönes Wochenende am Tasman Holiday Park Rotorua.

Newina ist ein mittelgroßes Hotel, 5 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt Der Manager war sehr hilfreich und hatte hervorragende Kenntnis von touristischen Attraktionen in der Gegend. Das Zimmer war ohne Störungen sauber und wir waren froh, einen privaten Hof mit einem riesigen Spa zu sehen. Es gibt auch einen Pool und ein kleines Konferenzzimmer. Voll Waschbecken im Erdgeschoss. Sehr erschwinglich und wir werden sicherlich wieder bleiben

Sehr sauberes Hotel, die Rezeption ist sehr enthusiastisch, lassen Sie uns in ausländischen Gaststätten zurückkehren. Einrichtungen: sehr Mode Gesundheit: sauber Umwelt: Schön Dienst: Enthusiasmus Die Lage ist sehr gut, das nächste Mal bleiben Sie. Ich empfehle es Ihnen.

Peaceful and picturesque location by the lake with well sized rooms and comfortable mattresses. Free laundry facilities, parking and good quality shower gel/shampoo. Room cleanliness could be better. Fridge door had old food stains on it, ironing board cover was stained and our floor didn’t seem to be vacuumed during our stay. It’s not close to restaurants/cafes, apart from McDonalds, which is problematic as the hotel restaurant is shut Monday and Tuesday- the days we happened to be staying. So no dinner or breakfast options available on those days. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a ground floor room, but I suggest asking for a top floor which has a balcony and better lake views.
