This accommodation is on the main street opposite the famous Ross Bakery. Our room was in one of the heritage homes, parking available on the street or off the street. We parked on the street as it's very quiet (the town was dead at 4pm on a Tuesday). The room was small but had everything we needed - a queen sized bed, 2 sitting chairs, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, very small bathroom, heating & pedestal but we didn't use either. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a communal sitting room and dining area where the complimentary continental breakfast provisions are left in the fridge for guests to DIY. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on what is served as we went across the road to the Ross Bakery for brekky. I think we were the only guests as we didn't see anyone else. Despite our bedroom being at the front of the house on the street it was very quiet as there was little traffic. We did hear a train a couple of times in the distance. Ross is a beautiful village with 180 years of Australian history. We had a lovely walk around for over an hour near sunset so the light was beautiful for photos. NOTE bring some dinner provisions as there isn't anything open after 6pm. There are a couple if takeaways so you have to eat early. Luckily we had some local wine and cheese so we enjoyed that in the alfresco area near the breakfast room.
