Villa Riari Garden

We loved this place! Located down a quiet street, it was the perfect respite from the busy streets of Rome. The garden in the back was a lovely place to relax in the early evening before venturing back out for dinner. Everyone who works here is so welcoming and kind. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were enjoying our time in Rome. Our room was small but had everything we needed like fresh water bottles daily, a comfy bed, and a lovely view of the garden. The rabbits in the garden are adorable.

The location is excellent, next to the botanical garden, walking distance to the fontanone, the Vatican, Colosseo, Trastevere, in a small alley which protects from traffic noise and roman chaos. Lots of interesting restaurants in the area, the closest one was excellent. The hotel provided a small but adequate breakfast with croissants and sandwiches and of course coffee, seating is in a lovely garden or inside. The staff is very helpful, friendly. The missing star is because the room is really small, hard to put suitcase somewhere usable. And there is no ac, not a problem in October but summer would be difficult. Would l stay again? Yes, in cooler seasons!

We booked a double room with private bathroom, paying nearly the same as a five-star hotel a week earlier in Rome. Our room was tiny, shaped like an L so my husband and I had to sleep on opposite sides of the L in twin beds. The room was clean, but important to note there is no A/C which we would expect of something being advertised as a 5-star hotel, and we didn’t know until after booking a non-refundable room through ***********. We weren’t too bothered except that to stay cool, we had to keep the windows open and fan on all night, and the mosquitos ate us alive. The walls of the room were dirty and scuffed and needed to be repainted. There was nowhere to store our bags without tripping over them since the room was shaped oddly.

Nous y avons passé 6 nuits, hôtel surprenant au depart, mais nous avons rapidement apprécié le calme du beau jardin, la proximité du quartier Trastevere, la propreté car le ménage est fait tous les jours ET surtout la gentillesse du personnel … aux petits soins et à l’écoute !!

Accoglienza fantastica, posto carino, camere molto pulite, personale gentilissimo e molto educato Siamo arrivati lì alle 12 di sera e ci hanno accolto con molta gentilezza offrendoci tutto quello di cui abbiamo bisogno

Un angolo di pace dopo la giornata passata a visitare Roma e la serata nella meravigliosa chiassosa Trastevere!Qualche pecca in stanza e in bagno ma so che sono in fase di ristrutturazione.Complimenti al personale professionale e veramente speciale!

Una estancia muy agradable.El personal super amable creando ambiente familiar. Hotel sencillo pero muy recomendable. A destacar también la ubicación, limpieza, el desayuno de cortesía desde muy temprano. Jardín interior tranquilo.

La cama comidisima , todo súper limpio, como detalle de la casa por la mañana puedes tomar un café y bollería , el personal muy amable. Cerca del corazón del mundo, en Trastevere, sin duda recomendable 100%.

Non posso esprimere giudizi sulla struttura, ma voglio condividere la mia esperienza: ho prenotato nel marzo 2020; a causa del Covid il viaggio è stato annullato. A distanza di 15 mesi, nonostante mille mail e ripetuti solleciti, gratificati solo da promesse mai mantenute non sono ancora riuscito ad avere nè vaucher nè rimborso della caparra versata. Il comportamento della struttura è stato assolutamente scorretto e disonesto: tutti abbiamo patito a causa dell'epidemia. Bastava emettere un vaucher (in caso di inesigibilità dopo 18 mesi sarebbe stato possibile accedere a coperture governative). In questo modo ci ritroviamo in mano solo una promessa (e in cuore una certezza: a Villa Riari non ci andremo mai)
