Hotel Seiler

This hotel did not meet its basic and most important requirement, which is safety for its customers. As a female, I felt vulnerable and scared. I do not recommend this hotel at all! My partner and I arrived in the early hours in the morning due to a delayed flight. We were greeted with threatening behaviour by a male receptionist. He demanded I give him €80 cash in hand to compensate for his evening shift, otherwise he wouldn’t give me the keys to my room! I didn’t know what to do and was therefore, left with no other choice. If I had known, I would have called the police to protect us from this behaviour. We also realised the hotel didn’t fulfil our booking for a double bed, even though this was paid for and was clearly stated in the confirmation of our booking. We told the male receptionist, but he argued with my partner and was extremely disrespectful to us. Luckily, my partner was by my side. You shouldn’t even consider this hotel. Beautiful city but disgusting service. Do not book!!

Still has $1000 from my trip back in October which they agreed to pay back money for a stay I didn’t take place but did not. The picture below shows me leaving and I sent an email too reiterating that and they played like they didn’t Know. I was thousands of miles from home.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The rooms are dirty and lack basic amenities such as air conditioning and a safe to store your passport etc. The staff are really rude and unwelcoming, and should not be aloud to work front of house.We spoke to some other residents who were staying here and also agreed it’s one of the worst hotels they have been to. Do not stay here, there are much better places!

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights from the UK. The room had no air con (despite there being a heat wave in Rome), no working fridge, no working safe and the shower only had scorching hot water. We complained about the air con multiple times, promised it would be fixed, to then be told by the rude and unhelpful guy at reception there’s nothing they can do and all rooms are having the same issue. The rooms were dirty, the walls had awful brown stains on… the bedding had marks on and the hotel was overall dated and lacked basic necessities. The staff were the most unhelpful and rude people I have ever met, I asked to speak to the hotel manager (in which I was told doenst exist??). This place was SO bad we spent most of our holiday searching for other places to stay. We spend a lot of time travelling, and I’ve stayed in better 1* hostels in India. Do not book this place, save your money and book somewhere half decent where the hotel has basic amenities and the staff aren’t arrogant and unapproachable. I should have guessed it was going to be horrific when there have been no reviews in the last 1 year +

I spent 4 days at Hotel Seiler with my husband and son, we were surprised that we got a room with a double bed and a single bed for the little one. The best were supper comfy and pillows as well, we had towels changed every day, there was also some toiletries such as soap, shower gel and shower cap. The tv had a lot of channels that some could change to the audio to English. As for cleaning, the rooms was very clean. The shower is amazing, one of the best in terms of temperature and pressure. When the windows were closed it completely eased any sound from outside. The hotel was quiet and receptionist were amazing in terms of indications, kidness and ensuring that everything went smoothly. If I ever return to Rome will choose Hotel Seiler again for the hospitality and kindness with every detail. The location was close to everything a few minutes walk and you are in the middle of the main attractions. There's breakfast at the hotel but we chose to eat out but the area for breakfast is nice. Felt welcome and happy at Hotel Seiler, thank you to all the staff.

EL PEOR DESAYUNO DE MI VIDA Una sorpresa bajar a desayunar y no encontrar nada de pan para poder tostar. Nada de embutidos ni queso. Solo había yogures, cereales y croasanes. Mantequilla y mermelada. Hoy segundo día y hemos bajado nuestro desayuno para no pasar hambre. THE WORST BREAKFAST OF MY LIFE It was a surprise to go down to breakfast and not find any bread to toast. No sausages or cheese. There was only yogurt, cereal and croissants. Butter and jam. Today is the second day and we have reduced our breakfast so as not to go hungry. LA PEGGIORE COLAZIONE DELLA MIA VITA Una sorpresa scendere a colazione e non trovare il pane da tostare. Niente salsicce né formaggio. C'erano solo yogurt, cereali e croissant. Burro e marmellata. Oggi è il secondo giorno e abbiamo ridotto la colazione per non soffrire la fame.
