Casa Cleo is a very convenient place for a short stay in Rome. It has an excellent location, since it is very near Termini Station at just about a 6-minute walk and very close to all the touristic attractions in Rome. We went everywhere on foot, but there are several metro stations and bus stops nearby with excellent connections to all parts of historic Rome. The host (Marta) was very friendly, she upgraded us to a bigger room and took the time to explain where was everything around the apartment and gave us tips and recommendations for our stay in Rome. The room was big enough for two persons and it had a private large bathroom with a good shower and it was very clean. They afforded a cleaning service everyday which was excellent, and our stay included breakfast with excellent bakery and a wide variety of infusions and coffee. We were worried at our arrival since the host was not present, the PIN code that we received in the email to enter the apartment was not working and the contact number wasn't responding. Finally, after waiting for 30 minutes we contacted Booking, they could reach the host that was running late due to traffic problems, and everything was alright. Marta told us that Booking had notified her that the arrival time was different from that which we had said during the reservation. So I recommend to contact the host beforehand to confirm your arrival time and avoid any miscommunication. The apartment is at a third floor. There is a working lift, but it isn't found on the ground floor, and it's actually on the first floor, so you will find that you have to climb a few steps to reach it (it was not a problem for us, but to take into account for older people or people with mobility issues or heavy luggage) I found that the bed in our room was not very comfortable. I usually have no problems sleeping anywhere, however in this occasion I didn't sleep that well. Also, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything in the nearby rooms.
